I am a big girl sometimes but i dont mind.

Surname is Bowen and i have taken that into consideration when picking. We wont have an Owen Bowen or anything :D. My OH also likes lucas but i just keep thinking of mucas which puts me off. lol. I also agree Ethan is becoming more common which also puts me off but i do like the name
:rotfl::rotfl:Mucus Lucas....will have to remember that one for next time the name gets mentioned:rotfl::rotfl:

Elden Bowen......that sounds good but might need a middle name to break up the 2 x 2 syllables as both the endings sound the same:) see I told you I'm fussy:p:D
I love most names beginning with 'H' but it'd be too cruel to do that to a child of with our surname ...could you imagine Harry/Henry/Henrietta/Hannah Holton??:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Joshua.. no.. too common
    Ethan
    Elden
    Keane.. no.. crappy singer..
    Ruven.. prefer Reuben myself

Imogen.. it is ok but a bit popular at the mo.
Ava.. can't say much.. I've got one!
Evelyn.. was almost avas name.. but pronounced Eve-lin rather than ever-lin.
Keryth.. no.. sounds like you have a peach imspediment!

I dont like normal names but i dont like anything really silly like Apple either. Something that sounds elvish or Gaelic normally appeals to me and i like the meaning of some too. Which one do you guys like?

So, ex has texted to say sorry for his reaction.
I said sorry was not good enough and not to contact me again.
This sent him off the handle, and is going to pursue his court action.

I am so so tired, emotionally more than physically.

Do not reply to any more of his texts or calls.. tell him if he has something to say to contact the solicitor!!!

I love the name Evelyn (pronounced as PP says) but my OH would hate it. I also wanted Alice, he hated that too!

  • For those out there who already have at least one child (Pigpen, you have been busy), when did you tell your existing children.

I am 17+3 and don't plan on telling my 4 year old DD for a few more weeks as I may end up in surgery in 2 weeks to have a large cyst removed. However I can't believe she has not noticed.

What did you tell your child(ren?), if I tell her now all she will want to know is is the baby coming tomorrow, she has little concept of time?

Bufger, I like Keryth and Ruven / Reuben

I actually liked Lucas but now I keep thinking Lucas Mucus!! Lol! My OH also thinks Lucas is too star wars!?

I loooove Logan :) (think Tickle suggested it)

At least you have a normal surname Bufger! Rather than my OHs surname that begins with a K (all the girl names I like seem to begin with a K) :p I am very short of boys names!! This is soo difficult!!

Sara I told both ours as soon as I get a BFP, they are really good and understanding then of why mummy is so tired and feels sick. They are both quite understanding of how long a baby takes to grow as they have teachers who are also pregnant. DS teacher had hers in april and brought the baby in about 3 weeks ago, DS was not impressed with the crying but I'm pleased its given him a realistic expectation about crying babies.

I think joshua, ethan and nathaniel are all fantastic names that I love but are too common for me, she says with her lucy (I promise I'd not heard of one girl with that name when we choose it). So far we have amelia and aiden - can you see how far we got in the book. OH thinks it is decided and there is no need for anymore discussion, he is of a find one name you both like and that will do mindset whereas I'd like a few to choose from that we both like.

I also think of starwars with Lucas. Its made by a company called Lucas Arts directed by George Lucas - thats probably why!

Lucas mucus. Ive put everyone off that name now!

Is your surname kitkat??!?!?! If so your child should be Havabreak.

Bufger: thats what my OH keeps saying! But when I think of Lucas it doesnt make me think of star wars at all, I wouldnt even think of who makes it, unless I was really analysing it, lol. Nooo my surname isnt Kitkat! My name is Kat though, I have no idea how I chose Kitkat as a username as I don't particularly like Kitkats! Lol. My OHs surname is Kimbrey which is damn awkward!!!
