Sammy, your little lady is a mischief isn't she, teasing you like that. I hope you can get comfortable. MW is an idiot for trying to book you for what was an essentially pointless treatment anyway, so don't listen if she does try and tell you off.

OH is not being sold on the idea of getting into the birth pool, if I decide to stay in there at the hospital. His neice, who's a student MW, has told him that it's more or less expected, especially if you get one particular MW. I'm not bothered if he does/ doesn't - I can certainly see that getting in a pool of blood and ooze is not an appealing prospect! He's not the sort to be bullied, but I don't want her pushing it, as it's not something he's keen on, and he can be a bit snappy if he's stressed, and I don't want the whole thing to have a bad air about it.

Welll ummmm.... I thought I was in labour last night!!!!:eek::eek::eek: I started getting what I thought was period pains in my lower back that started getting regular and quite often = me in major panic getting hospital bag properly done with what stuff I have:rotfl:

It got to 9ish and the pains shifted to the front of bump and I realised the pains were in fact my Crohns flare up pains:( Having bean there obviously shifts bodily parts so the pains confused me:o

So I've had a terrible night in agony, have puked lots of disgusting stuff up and now I have major heartburn. Pains have died down a bit thankfully. I'm hoping it's just a bad few days flare up... if not things don't look good:( So so gutted... and in a major panic thinking about all the things I need to get done!

Do hospitals mind if you take your own dongle in for going on net?? If I'm gonna be in for ages I want my laptop!! Their stupid internet and tv thingy costs a fortune doesn't it???

Can't advise about the dongle, but I hope you're not going to be in there for too long if you need to go in.

Hmmm, someone has stolen my fingers and replaced them with sausages.

I had a carp night, me and OH rowed as I was being ratty with him, I had terrible BH and felt like carp. The house was a mess and he fell asleep on the sofa so that made me feel worse! Then I spend 2 hours updating my ipod online, and just as it finished we had a powercut! So it hasnt updated and I need to re-do it later :mad: it also meant we couldn't have a fan on (no electric!) and I couldnt have a shower :mad: we did have a bit of a giggle playing with torches though, I couldn't stop laughing as I felt about 5 years old! Lol.

Re: Roadtrips... Pig.. I am really not sure what to recommend. I would get your chest of drawers now, I always feel better when I just do something that is playing on my mind. I am also due to go on a roadtrip a week on Saturday, its over 4 hours driving. I am just hoping it isn't too hot otherwise I dont think I could handle it. My worst fear is all the loo stops!! Luckily I have got air con in my car but OH is on about taking his family too which would mean me, him, and 3 other passengers (of which 2 are fairly rounded!) think I will just demand the front seat!! And maybe have my feet up on the dash so they dont swell!!

Hi All

Just popping in before the midwife today. Hate going to see her as she is really heavy handed and I am always in pain when I come back from seeing her.

Bump seems to be fairly quiet today although I suspect she is sleeping as she was active early morning and was doing lots of acrobatics last night.

Have had the runs this morning though and keep feeling the urge to go to the toilet all the time so hoping she is getting in position and is thinking about making her appearance.

BEXTA - she really is a little minx. She keeps teasing but nothing comes of it. She's up for eviction soon though - due in 2 days time - so fingers crossed she'll literally get a wriggle on!

Right better go and do my pee ot and get over there.

Morning All,

I haven't had my graco t-shirt either, but have my fingers crossed it arrives this week.

Bad, bad sleep for me. It was too blooming hot, then when I did eventually go to sleep was awake after an hr or so for a wee. So am at work today tired and very very grumpy.
Does anyone else have where they wake up and its almost like your whole body has seized up? I think its where I am sleeping on my side and not turning over as frequently.

Roadtrips - sod that. I cant think of anything more worse than being confined in a car for a few hrs. I get fidgety and have to walk after an hr of sitting, so no way could handle 4 hrs! PP I would second getting your chest of draws asap.

Well I went to sleep for an hour after my last post.. my tummy seems to be feeling less jittery so I will attempt food before I devour this fat cat! It still isn't right but it'll do. Good job really as we have podiatry this afternoon!

glued my broken nail again.. roll on Friday when they get fixed!!

I think I could do with a quiet weekend doing nothing except eating and sleeping TBH so I may not bother going to his mothrs.. he can go by himself if he wants I think.

hello all

It rained here this morning, I was ecstatic despite getting wet muddy trousers on the way to the station!

Walked about 15 minutes from the bus to my thing this morning (which was starting people off on a walk I'm not fit to go on!) and now rather sore and achey Am gutted as I really wanted to keep active through the pregnancy! must order the tankini so I can swim instead.

I am now starving and off for lunch

Thats a good idea to stay at home eating and sleeping instead of going to his mothers Pigpen! I am not sure what to do about this trip... I really wana go as its to see OHs cousins new baby been looking forward to meeting the little guy and I just know I wont want to travel that far when the baby is here, so it kinda makes sense for me to go now! By then I shall be 35 weeks... :eek: cant see baby coming early (although after the BH last night I did think it was trying to get out!)

Anyone seen the advert for those inflatable hot tub type things?? I soooo want one of those!!! would be great to have one in work infact
