Morning all, well i feel super tired :( was awake all last night as now my back/ neck/ hips ache terribly. Just cant get comfy, and i hate lying on my side now as my hips kill, only 16 more weeks of this to go!!! :(
I also feel like I need to eat better, jus seem to be eating carp!! Keep buying fruit from the shops but it keeps fresh for 5 mins then i end up chucking it, why cant apples and bananas come in frozen form :p lol. I asked OH this and he replied 'because they wud be too cold' lol.

So I am here chomping on foamy bananas! Not exactly nutricious!

Kitkat if you can buy your fruit and veg off the market ive found it keeps so much longer than the supermarket stuff and also dont keep your bananas with the rest of the fruit they give off a gas that makes everything turn quicker. I have found when it comes to sleeping the couch is so much more comfy than the bed as it kind of hugs you and supports everything it could just be my sofa though but worth a try :-)

Well my bed is done that was easier than i thought it would be ive only had to take the centre post out they are just going to send that replacement bit instead of me having to do the whole bed YAY!!

Thinking about getting my hospital bag packed, and was wondering about the sanitary towels - would any super absorbant towels do or are the specific maternity ones better and roughly how many would I need??

    Thanks

  • I'm so glad you said that, I read that it was really painful so I've been dreading it, but you've made me feel better! :j
I had this last week and I'm the worst person ever with injections! Wiggle your fingers when it goes in as that keeps the nerves busy so it won;t be so bad. It does hurt a bit, (it's a bit like the pain of a wasp sting so it burns rather than hurts, IYKWIM) but only for a minute and then it's over.
You will also need to stay there for 20 minutes so they can make sure you don't have a reaction to it. I felt sick exactly 4 minutes into the journey home and we had to pull over - it left a funny sour taste in my mouth like earwax so take a sweet or something to suck on afterwards.

I'm just editing to note that the link makes this look very unacceptable on this board - it's actually perfectly innocent pictures!!

  • Hello ladies can I please join the this thread. Im currently pregnant with baby no2. DD is 2 in 2weeks. Unfortunately when I had my scan on monday they have put my dates back 2weeks so I am now 12+6 not 14+6 like my dates said boohoo. So EDD is now 29/10. Hubby and I are really excited and can not wait for this baby to arrive. I have been going through Olivia's baby things and we dont need to get much I want a new bouncy chair as I gave mine to a girl who was pregnant at my mum's work (young no money no sense of money) friend it was second hand when we got it and I dont think I will be wanting it back from them IYKWIM.

I have decided I want a swing thought this time and going to purchase one with the hipp grant at 25weeks. We didnt get that last time and have all the big stuff , pram, cot( thats if DD gets out of it before Oct lol) changing mat and table. I am planning on breastfeeding again but want to combine giving breast milk in bottle too so hubby can enjoy the feeding as I felt like he really missed out on that with Olivia at first.

I am having hospital lead cared ue to high blood pressure and signs on pre-eclampsia with Olivia in last preg so from 27weeks have to visit midwife every week and twice a week from 32weeks with regular visits to hospital in between.
