I am so bored and my hayfever is horrid today they are cutting the grass in the church yard near my office and it is horrible :mad: I could just curl up and sleep I just have no energy at all :mad:

Last day of the week in work for me and it is quite mad as my bosses are all off and loads of issues are coming out of the woodwork

On a more happy note I collect my brand new car from the show room on Saturday morning. I am so excited. :j:j:j:j:j

Just have to make it through to 5pm today.

Seeing the M/W tomorrow to have a chat about my test reults for the Group B Strep thing. Thanks for all the help & advice given on this ladies :A

I really want to have a gender scan next week at 18 weeks as my 20 week scan is not until I am 21 weeks. It will cost £80 to have one done as a private scan. Any thoughts????

Gah!, I hate looking for car insurance...its so bloody annoying and can get confusing! and also why has my premium gone UP this year?!?! I now have 1years worth of experience under my belt with NO accidents and it's gone up by fricking £50:mad::mad: Now I've got to shop around and then go shout at my current insurers to see what they're gonna do about it....why is nothing simple?!!?
and bubs is booting my so much at the front it's making me feel sick and the thought of eating make me wanna hurl:( bah! at least I'm getting my tt steriliser for only £7.99 at lunch, and paying off some more of my debt, that always makes me smile:)

Tinkwings at least you have a pretty church to stare out the window at! We've got a theory test centre, police station, coronors court and a gym full of sweaty women!! Although the lads do enjoy that :rotfl:
Gender scan.....upto you, if you can afford it and can't wait the extra couple of weeks go for it otherwise I'd say it's pretty pointless:o then again I wasn't fussed about knowing myself so maybe I'm biased:)

Smartie: How come you have 2 footballs in your cot, lol, funnily enough I have one football in mine.. I have no idea why and where it come from (grrr OH :mad:)

I also had a threatening council tax letter, couple of months ago. I was 7 days late with payment and the letter was a court order!! :eek: they had even given me a date to attend court and an address! I phoned them up and was panicking, and the woman just said if I paid while on the phone that would be fine! And no problems since!!

Tink: Am jealous of new car! What one you getting? One of these days I WILL order a brand new car :mad: my OH has had 2 since we have been together! Not fair!!!

Re: the gender scan, I know its frustrating but I would wait until your 20 week scan and if the baby crosses its legs then you can always pay for an additional one. If you get to fnd out at 20 week scan, you get £80 to spend on lovely baby items

This is what heppened with me..........desperado to know, but hung on til 20 week scan yesterday............legs crossed! So booked gender scan for day after tomorrow :T:T:T Felt justified as I hung on til 20 week scan!

Just met 1st doula.......she seemed nice, just odd to think a stranger is going to be so intimately involved in this process........I know MW etc are, but she will be here SO much..........

Oh dear Emsy!! Naughty baby!! I think your gender scan is defo justified!

I am possibly having a scan next week and then maybe a further dating scan, I am hoping that bubs keeps their legs crossed as I don't want to see anything!!!

OH did a sweet thing last night, he downloaded the books app onto his iphone, and has already downloaded some winnie the pooh stories, and other kids stories, he told me it was ready for him to read to the baby i thought that was very sweet of him

As you know we don't know flavour but wanted to. I've had a few "shall I cry at DH and say I want a private scan" moments but they have passed and now I've reached nearly 29 weeks it's got a little easier not knowing. I can't justify spending nearly £100 for my own selfish reason of wanting to know... plus I don't suppose having yet another scan would be good for bubs (not that there's scientific proof etc blah blah blah)

I did have a little thought that maybe not knowing is causing a little bit of why I'm feeling down and maybe I would feel more attached to bean if I knew?? I don't know. Anyway... we're not going to find out and I'm loving the neutral outfits we've got!:)

I'm not sure either. A bit worried that there's 2... I'm waiting for the baby footballs to appear;)

DH has brought me a Honda Jazz Si in ilatian Racing red It is the sport model with funky alloy's spoiler etc etc. I love it & him for buying me it

I know that is what me head tells me to wait for my scan & then if we can't find out to have a gender scan then......but my heart says I really want to know NOW!!!! (stamps her feet like a 3 year old) :rotfl:

Tink i am exactly the same as you and need to know! i am 20 wks on sat but scan not until i am 21+5. it seems ages away. unfortunately i cant afford any other scans but know i will be having an extra scan at 32 ish wks so if baby is being awkward at 20wk scan maybe they will let me know then?
