I keep thinking of the Michael McIntyre comedy sketch of the HD ready tv..... I feel like that tele thats just not ready LOL
I've been keeping an eye on his bits and pieces for the unisex bits for you
I can also recommend for diddy ones, in £land they had packs of 6 flannels, in greens, pinks and blues, block colour and spotty mix. They've been great for picking up the little dribbles he's had, rather than using a whole large muslin....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Congrats redmel:j:j:j What a lovely new addition to your family:)
Kitkat... do you still need a mothercare code???;) If so SHOUT and I'll pm you!
I'm feeling crap. That is my only moan today... I promise.
A local maternity shop has a 10% off evening tonight so I'm going to [STRIKE]convince DH to take me [/STRIKE]try to pop along to that:)BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
Kitkat.. Not really.. it is just a baby.. They have seen a few and they stop being interesting after a while lol. DD1 is possibly most excited.. she wants to buy sequin shoes.. I did point out if it is a boy he may not appreciate it.. OH is more terrified than excited and I am dreading it.. no, that's not strictly true.. I am dreading the popping.. and whether at my grand old ancient age I will cope etc.. and the problems the others have.. I don't think I can cope with another with a whole round of therapists etc.. though, we will have orthopaedic referral at birth to check hips due to DD1's hip dysplasia.. and everyones hypermobility etc. I wanted a fish when I was having Tiddles.. so I could flush it when it got on my nerves!! Had she been a fish she'd have lasted 10 seconds lol. DS1 is marginally excited.. but he has always loved babies.. it isn't real o th others until it arrives I don't think.. though they do keep asking how many days it is before the baby arrives...
I've just had a whole battenburg and 2 slices of gammon for breakfast... How gross is that?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

I don't suppose anyone of you lovely ladies have any money off codes for mothercare? Looking for ANYTHING off a £105 spend roughly?!?
I've had a look but can't find one, only 10% off carseats at the mo (NCS)
I think when I registered with them they sent me a 10% off for updating my due dates, so that's worth a go. Also, make sure you use Topcashback as I think you get about 5% back there as well.Bellymonkey due 25/09/10 :j0 -
Thanks Cafc
I actually bought a pack of flannels yesterday for my hosp bag, thought they would come in handy! Great minds eh!
Smartie: ooooh please PM me if you have a codeI would be ever so grateful

I'm itching like crazy and have ruined my whole body with scratching -Now have horrid legs and can't even wax incase of irritation. So far have tried Lanacane powder, talc, calamine, aloe vera.Nothing working so far.Going to try dettol soap now.
Today I will be ordering car seat(maxicosy in black) from boots-hopefully will get some money back in points and seat was reduced to £100,although it is only £94.50 online in mothercare but with boots it works out a bit better.
Just trying to think of girl names now,I've picked a boy name but cannot decide on girl names at all.Love can tame the wildest0 -

Pigpen, I'm sure baby needed that combination of food, however unusual it was.
My weirdest baby dream has been where I went in to work to show bubs off, and instead of it being one baby, I'd had abut 20 that were only a couple of inches big. Someone lifted the blanket to have a look, and half the babies fell out of the pram, and I was going mad at them for not being more careful. Very weird indeed.

Morning all.
I'm trying to find a cheapish holiday for end of July/beginning of Aug when I will be 32/33 weeks. We usually go camping but I'm refusing to this summer - don't think I'd be able to hack it and don't fancy the night time toilet trips. Looking at hiring a caravan/chalet probably somewhere near a beach but everything is so bloomin expensive.
When oh gets home later think we are going looking for a bigger car!0 -
Congratulations Mel, Tea's gorgeous. And I hope I look half as good as you after I've squeezed Flump out!.
Glad to hear things are going well with baby Landen, CAFC.
Looking like another warm day today - not good for my ankles which seem to look like balloons most of the timeWe are off to Italy on our jollies on Saturday, just checked the weather forecast and it is looking like being around 30 degrees the whole time we're there  Not sure how I'm going to cope with that.
Flump's kicks have been getting much stronger over the last couple of days and I can even see my tummy moving now. Very weird. You can do anything, make anything, dream anything. If you change the world, the world will change.0
