I miss it in a way, I lived in the Pokesdown end of boscombe, but I moved when I got married and I'd only moved there for my job and was ready for a change. Miss the sea!
I went to Boscombe today lol that's nice and central, if I didn't have kids I'd happily live there.
Where I live it's quiet and nice for kids but we have hourly buses and it can take hours to get anywhere :rotfl:going into Bournemouth has been a bit of an adventure for me today
It is lovely to have the sea on your doorstep, I'd miss it I think. Do you like London?Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Littleboo - I don't think it looks girly at all.0 -
Littleboo red is a good colour for a girl or a boy so i shouldnt worry about that can i ask what make that pushchair is as i have seen a 2-3 people with something similair around where i live (it folds up really small and fits in a bag probably a completely different buggy) and if it is the same one then it doesnt look like they wear very well mind you saying that the kids didnt look in a much better condition so it could just be they dont look after them very well.:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

Boohoo OH is on contribution based jsa so he can't claim sure start, it's not fair! I can't claim until I'm on tax credits but I have no idea whether I will be on the right one?! Doesn't matter just means we'll have to buy a cheap car seat not the nice silver cross one
that's my moan over!
Does anyone know what the sizes are like in Next sleepsuits? I have got size new baby and upto 1 month, the new baby looks tiny, is it worth packing these in hosp bag or do they only fit teeny tiny babies? Think I'm expecting a 8 pounder!0 -
Redmel, CONGRATULATIONS! Very pretty name, she must've arrived nice and quickly!
Kitkat, that sucks about not being able to get surestart  I'm just going to pack a few different sizes of sleepsuit, figure they're nice and small anyway so won't take up much space.
Stay put vibes to you Pigpen, and stay out of hospital ones to you Smartie!
I'd like to buy a couple of nursing bras, but I'm not sure what size to go for. Should I just get a pack of Matalan cheapies in my current size and upgrade when boobs decide what they're going to do?

Next baby clothes do come up a bit small/short compared to others I have though the up to one month size says that it does up to 10lbs. I think so long as you have a short, chubby, baby you should get some use out of themI only have a few in that size, the rest are in 0-3m (up to 12lbs I think).

Kitkat i think first size normally cover upto 9lb so they should be ok for the hospital but if bump is a big one i wouldnt expect to get much wear out of them. Do you sew or know anyone that does as you can cut the feet off them to make them summer sleep suits you would get alot more use out of them then. :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

Personally, I think you're better off being fitted properly (size dependent I suppose) as soft cup/nursing bras aren't nearly as supportive as underwires. Actually, you should really just get fitted properly regardless
However, as I was advised by a fitter, the thing to look for with nursing bras fitted before your milk has come in is that the back strap fits in a supportive way around your back when fastened on the loosest hook. Your ribcage will almost undoubtably shrink by a couple of inches after you give birth and this gives you some leeway to tighten it. Cups should fit you as any other bra, with the exception that you should be able to comfortably fit one fist in at the top corner, near the strap, without squashing yourself/stretching out the bra too much. This should give you some space to grow into them as your milk comes in.
I only bought one proper nursing bra and plan to go back in about a month to get refitted once breastfeeding is established and my milk supply has settled somewhat. I didn't much see the point in shelling out loads for something that may only be worn for one or two months then grown out of.0 -
Kitkat - I always bought Next newborn for mine and they fit fine for about a month or so - and mine both weighed 8lb 7oz.0
