not when it happens slowly like it is meant to.. but when they go into freefall and crash into your cervix mid contraction.. yes it hurts!! lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Congratulations Sales!!!! You did so bleedin' well!
OK new update.....
Saw consultant, lovely bloke, sounds just like Sean ConneryBP shot up astronomically from last check, so everyone was a bit RAR! LOL Wasnt that bothered to be fair as there is nowt else going on, aside from my bloods still being raised....
So anyway, does an internal, sweep and stretch, I'm 3cm dilated already!!!! Dunno how that happened......or when LOL felt no twinges nada......
So he then gets on the phone to labour ward, to tell them I'll be getting induced tomorrow!!!! Or actually could they do it this afternoon! I was practically bouncing off the walls thinking it was gonna be that afternoon, but alas they were quite busy...
Got to phone tomorrow morning before the usual time as I think they want me in first due to BP problems etc...
Then got sent up to day assessment for follow up bp check (quite why they couldnt do it in ante natal is beyond me). Ended up having a row with the midwife up there because consultant told me i wouldnt need bloods done, and there was no point, my levels had never gone down and im being induced tomorrow..... but yet he had written BP Profile on my notes which to the midwife was bloods.....
She got well narky, even though my mum (a nurse) kept saying to her well hes in the clinic cant you call him.... I appreciate she needed to follow orders, and would have hell to pay if she didnt do it and then something happened..... but my god just ring the man!!!!
Anyway she then says if theres anything in my urine she'll be taking bloods, and off she went. Then my mum said just refuse them, you dont have to have them taken.... she came back and was having a feel and a measure and the consultant called back saying "yeah, no need to take bloods"......
I can really see her point of view but she was very argumentative about her side of it...... but i guess it didnt help that me, my mum and my husband were all telling her NO! LOL
Anyway................. LOL all that drama, bp was then down, although still elevated in my history..... but no matter because I should get some baby lovin' tomorrow!!!!!!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
CAFC.. YAY.. you watch things kick off tonight now lol... I refused bloods today too.. but I refuse everything..
I'm just difficult and proud of it! that will mean Kitkat will be 20th... LOL..

Im almost sad I never got to top spot!!!! LOL
Pigpen - thats what Im hoping for...... ive had what i think are some contractions but they've since gone...... be bouncing on my ball like a good un later on this evening.....and im planning on spicy fajitas.....
I could totally see the midwife's point but it was like such a drama to get her to just ring him..... kinda wanted to do the whole two fingers up raspberry blow from Hot Fuzz when she came back from on the phone LOLWealth is not measured by currency0 -

Hi everyone!
Congrats on these new babies!! Some beautiful names as well!
cafc - yay on induction bet your relieved!
And talking about stupid midwives, had an appointment at 9am today, got there at 9am had to hang around for someone to open the door, then even though i was the first person there and obviously first appointment i had to wait for 40 bleeding minutes!! and with a toddler in a buggy you can imagine this was driving me mad, Anyway get called in she asks if i have done sample, i said no, she said well we will go see if someone else has and you can wait cos it slows us down  cheeky b*tch i had just waited 40 !!!!in minutes while she did god knows what, so i replied with well im hardly gonna leave my baby in a room full of strangers while i nip to the toilet, so she said ok well do one now and we will wiat just this once. I was then rushed in and out in abou 2 and a half minutes. what a waste of my life, i have another appt in 2 weeks but i dont want to go at all. Is there any need in actually going to these appointments cos i am seriously considering just fobbing it all off now till i go into labour then going hopsital, ive had a baby before i dont think i really need them for another 5 weeks of arsin about! they actually dont even work for the hospital im going to, they work for the local mrsa infected dump, they wouldnt even do my 28 week bloods when they knew i was going to a diff hosp than theres so i didnt get them done till i went hosp at 33 weeks!!
