I can't wear M&S bras normally.. they simply don't fit properly but they are great for my girls.. who are both completely different shape to one another.. I was quite surprised these fit something like.. but they were too cheap to argue with! I wore Emma Jane ones when I had all my others.

I am soooooooooooo bored today :mad::mad:

I really want to know what flavour baby we are having is that really wrong??? Don't know what i'll do if we can't tell.

    I am fed up today.

Took my daughter to the doc's yesterday about her burns as her eye lid is infected and looks really nasty.

My dad was let home yesterday & it would appear that the operation went well. :T

Is it wrong that I really don't want to use the cot from DH's mum? I really want to have a cotbed that I have seen in John Lewis.

We have been given the Travel system from my brother & ex sister in law so that has saved us one expense. It is not what I would pick but it is in mint condition and cost them a lot so I am fine with that. But I really want the Nursey to look a ceratin way and a white cotbed is what fits in with my plans. How can I convey this to my hubby & his mum without upsetting them????:o
If you can think it........it will happen

I'm assuming its a wooden one??? Can you not accept it, sand it down and then paint it white??? best of both worlds then;):)

    Hello all :)

Bufger...hope everything settles down and the scan tomorrow goes well.

Welcome and congrats to sarathechemist :)

Evies mummy...congrats on being team blue :)

Smartie...i got my big pants from primark too!!! You really cant beat 5 pairs for £2.50 and they are comfy. Gone are the days when i wore a bit of cheese string ;) I had 2 strawberry tarts to myself on sunday...well obv one for me and one for junior...they were yum. Hope you enjoy :)

Kitkat....Yay for OH cooking chicken and washing up. I wouldnt feel guilty about filling the jsa form out. After all he has already filled it in...you are just double checking that they get in touch

Cafc...Pleased you are ok. Massive labour vibes to you.

Tinks...pleased your dad is ok to come home....he will recouperate better in his own surroundings.

Well, i am still here with no sign still of junior making an appearance. I bought some clary sage oil yesterday so spent day sniffing it they bathed in it last night...nothing :( I am not fed up of being pregnant but its just the not knowing when junior is going to make an appearance that is driving me nuts.

I am not worried about bringing junior home even though this will be our 1st as i really dont want to spend anymore time in hospital than i really have to. So i will be lying to any questions i think i need to (and i am sure that will include the poo question) ;)

    xx

Tinks: glad your dad is home and I hope your daughter is on the mend. I am not sure what to say with the cot.. could you explain to your DH you really have your heart set on buying the new one? Mine was opposite; I was given a 2nd hand one I didn't mind and OH wanted a new one so we donated the 2nd hand one to charity and bought a new one. I am glad we did this now as the cot looks lovely :)

hello ladies, I'm just dipping in at present, I've only got a liitle olive at the mo, so waiting for my first scan to say it's really real. Already fed up with constant 1st trimester nausea though. However, from reading here sounds like there's a lot worse to come!

Beginning to wonder if all that stuff about "blooming" is a myth and pregnancy is really just 9 months of hell. Which leads me on to why I'm posting here. If you had a window when you felt great when was it and for how long? OH and I want to get a nice holiday in (something we won't be able to do later on) but I don't want to do it if I'm just going to be miserable with some pregnancy related thing.

Make it 3...i have only just started to feel "normal" in the past 2 weeks although i have still been feeling sick like i did this am. Unfortunately i think it varies from person to person.

I hope you start to feel ok soon

Tinks...think i would keep it and paint it. That solves both problems with you wanting white and not offending oh mum

    I felt best around 16 - 20 weeks. Now I shuffle around like a 90 year old man after 6pm :o

Congratulations and welcome! All pregnancies are different but most women feel better after the first trimester. I have always felt tired, but we did go on holiday when I was about 19 weeks (already booked before I got PG, and the timing worked great) we went to Rhodes. Personally, I would recommend this time as I was feeling less s*** that I had been, wasn't too big, and could still get around. I wouldn't fly more than 3 or 4 hours if I were you as it is hard work especially with all the waiting around I found I was really aching even though I tried to keep my feet moving and did a bit of walking up and down the plane. Also, if going abroad I would go somewhere slightly cooler than you would normally chose as you might find that the heat hits you a bit harder than before.

Most improtantly, have a lovely time! :)
