MGEB, I can't believe you're still here! Hopefully not for much longer though HURRY UP BABY vibes to you!

    Hi LL!

Well MW went ok, only an hour late which is a new record for her. Other than that, bubs is measuring spot on, and has been extra acrobatic today for some reason. There was the most adorable baby boy waiting at the Drs though, he was just soooo cute! Really bouncy and happy and nosy, kept giggling at everyone and waving.

Aww kitkat - have you tried entitledto.com (or similar) and enter different scenarios so you can gather what help you'll be entitled to in worst case scenario? Big hugs to you though, you sound like you need some!

As for the card front - that is a mega PIA. Happened to hubby and they cleared his bank account somehow  Barclays also tried to blame him but turned out the card was actually copied in HSamuel the jewellers...he remembered the guy had said the machine wasn't taking his card and went to another (should have been big warning signs but sometimes you just don't pay enough attention). Can you whittle down where it might have happened? And when using a cash machine, if you can, go use the inside ones - if not check the slot with your finger first, have a good look at it for any adjustments and cover your pin when enetering it...is now habit for me. Also i try to just use particular cashpoints - my own bank first and foremost even if i have to walk further to it (just as once an Abbey machine didn't dispense my money and Halifax claimed that as it wasn't their machine they'd have to request details - took 30days to get MY money back )

1more - don't worry about the whole expect a big baby thing, they are more than often wrong with the weights. Also babies tend to stop putting on much weight in the last few weeks before birth ;)

Thanks for that MGEB, cant believe you still managed to advise me even with what your going through, thankyou :)

The bank reckons it was a cash machine, but to be honest I havent used one in weeks, I do all my bill paying online and have been buying bits and pieces for the baby so I think it must have been online.

Day off work tomorrow! So glad!!

    Debt-free and Proud!
Hi ladies. My due date has moved and is now.... TODAY! I know not how. Have been going with 17th all through, but now they have decided it's 13th. Where is my baby? Firmly inside and showing no signs of emergence. His sister was/is as stubborn as they come, so I reckon I might get to meet this one about a week on Monday. Booo. Good job I am not too uncomfortable or I might be really peeved.

Might have to get some starjumps on the go! :j

Just popping in to let those of you on facebook know about this group

    http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=20099106759.

It's about Warning pregnant mothers about the fatal dangers of cold sores to newborns. Quite a shocking story and not something I knew anything about.

Big congrats to Choccy (yay finally!!!) and wildfrog.

I knew it could be very dangerous to kiss a baby if you had a coldsore i didnt realise how dangerous i read about it quite a while ago as a woman had both of her children removed from her care by social services. Her youngest child had nasty outbreaks on his feet and no one could determine what they were it looked like his feet had been burnt so they thought the mother was abusing him. After 2 long years of battling and many medical experts she finally got told by a doctor that it was the coldsore virus ( she had one a few days after giving birth and had transmitted by blowing raspberries on his feet) it was treated and cleared up really quickly but she still had to wait another 12 months to get the kids back full time as they had been away from her for so long they had to be reintroduced gradually. Its unbeleivable that something so harmless to us can be so fatal to a little baby :-(

MGEB - Massive hugs to you x I have been feeling EXACTLY like you for weeks, it awful and very difficult to admit and talk about. Each day has been worse and to be honest I'm not sure how I've got through it and stayed sain as I honestly felt like jumping off a high bridge many a time.

Hoping to try and get induction today but after yesterdays disappointment I'm not holding my breath. They made the right decision, they were full to capacity and under staffed so did I really want to have my labour/birth compromised? Its a tricky one as a colleague of the team I totally understand and as a patient also, I can be fairly irrational and incredibly emotional!

Its lovely to have a flurry of babies, fingers crossed MGEB and I will be joining soon!

Redmel - Big Hugs, pregnancy is such an emotional rollercoaster x

Courgette - I had 3 months + off work and the guilt can eat you up BUT as I was told at the time by everyone, you must look after yourself and your baby. SPD is horrendous. I've been unable to get out of the house for months, but keep thinking short term pain for long term gain!!! Rest does help enormously so don't push yourself x

Smartie - so sorry to hear something has upset you. Hope you're feeling better today x
