  • Lol, yeah, he is like a swedish type blonde though - might have been ginger once upon a time, lol - To be fair i'm one of these girls that doesn't mind a ginger bloke - don't really see the offput if the rest of em is good looking. I always have strange crushes :D

I do have a weird thing for athletes though...hubby is a runner too - 2008 would have been his year had it not been for me :( woops, his fault not mine i promise. It's why i fancied him so bloody much....used to swoon over him when he was at the tracks doing his thing :D Don't tell him though, his head will swell LOL!

I have just proved i'm pretty shallow - haha!!!!

    hello ladies
just got an email from Mamas and Papas that they have free delivery. Dont know for how long, but its a good chance to spend your vouchers if you havent got a shop near you.
They still have some things going for free or very cheap if you using £5 voucher:D

MGEB - Sorry to hear you feel like poop hun, but the end is in sight..... and despite everything you still managed to advise me on my hair :) bless you....

Im thinking I wanna get my hair cut before birth... one for something to do, and two because i know how lazy i am, i just wont get it done afterwards. Seriously need to do something with the colour as well. Got such bad re-growth going on, but that'll have to wait till payday :(

Pleased to say I got the good madwife for my appt. The evil one had come out of her room to use the loo, and the nice one called me in WOOHOO! LOL Baby measuring spot on, head is just on brim, his back is on my left hand side with all his limbs out to the left. Apparently he's a bit awkward laying so she's recommended that I do lots of leaning forward/being on all fours etc to get him to shuffle round a bit whilst he's still got space....

Didnt go into much else, which I find is weird considering im 36 weeks. Asked if I had thought about my birth plan so came home and did some rough notes with DH, such as I want to labour in water, preferably birth in water but if i cant then i want a bath/shower. if I have to go for c-section DH doesnt want to go in.... bless him... and decisions about injections etc.... was good to involved DH in them.....

Then we went for a bit of wander round b&q and homebase for veggie feed and another bag of compost so our veggies can be tended to :)

Not much else to report really....

Afternoon everyone, congrats to Wildfrog and Choccy - will see pics later as can't at work.

(((hugs))) to KitKat was in a similar situation as DH's job was due to finish at end of month but thankfully has a temp contract until July (which hope will be perm) but is so hard with the uncertainity.

    Hope MBEB things move along.

Anyone else suffered from severe indigestion?? I am in absolutely agony every afternoon with sharp pains under my ribs that comes and goes. Gaviscon advance helps a little bit (for about half an hour or less!!) but then it comes back so painful. Went to docs on Tuesday and was useless didn't even examine me or ask for symptons as said I had indigestion. Just gave me a prescription for gaviscon and something else that hasn't really helped. Thinking of going back to the docs as I am in agony but don't want to be brushed off again - what do you ladies and gent think, is this normal??- I'm 21 weeks btw . .

1more - don't worry about the whole expect a big baby thing, they are more than often wrong with the weights. Also babies tend to stop putting on much weight in the last few weeks before birth ;)

thanks mgeb im not to worried about the size my dd was 8lbs 4 & my ds was 8lbs 10 so im not expecting a 6lb er i am expecting 9lbs ish
hope things are moving on for you now

Am i being over emotional? or do I have a right to be peeved?

I always walk into town to meet my OH at his work place on his hour off at lunch. I give him his lunch, get a kiss then he goes back into work to eat his lunch. He leaves the house at 7.45am and doesn't get back til half 5 so he can walk with his friend. This is the friend who he spends the whole of lunch with and if his friend wants to go out into town to visit any game shop my OH goes with him.

I dropped lunch off to him today and said I was going to the library, did he want to come. He said yeah why not. I then said i'll be looking at sugarcraft books and he changes his mind....so I go off alone. well, with DD but you understand. I went away wanting to cry and just feel so !!!!ed off that I always seem second best...

I guess it doesn't help the fact that his mum isn't happy that we're having a girl (God knows why) which again sets me off nearly crying....God I'm pathetic. Feels like such a Bad Day.

    Sorry for the rant...

All she keeps going on about was when she was pregnant with him and how it felt having a boy. I know she wanted a boy. I did too, but I'm really happy that it's a girl.

I have one of those 3D scans next friday and TBH I really want to to definately be a girl as that will be like 2 fingers up to her. How Dare she be upset that her son has created a girl!!
