I have been craving smells more than foods. The other day I was tempted to go and water my pavement to get that 'wet pavement smell', also the smell of the garden shed or cut grass, oil/ petrol/ creosote/ tar type smells too. Mmmmmmm!0

MY fault!!! I posted a picture on the less than 12 week thread of the amazing B'day cake my mummy made me yesterday and the picture had a jar of Marmite in the background!!! It started the debate!!! SorryIf you can think it........it will happen0 -

My OH cuts grass for a living, he's had extra hugs for the smell

Somerfield is the closest grocery shop to my work and I find it uber expensive! Theres a shop in the same building as my work that does massive packs of chocolate for 99p.. or theres somerfield thats about 60p for one bar! Prob is I buy the massive cheap pack and then eat more than one bar... ahem!
Thanks for reminding me CAFC about blooming marvelous, I just phoned them now as online status said 'unknown' and they said both pairs were in stock and should be with me today! I am quite suprised, now I wander where the damn driver will leave it as im in work :mad:. Sorry yours wasnt in stock CAFC. Just hope one of mine actually fit!!
Chips dipped in ice cream Smartie!?? Erm... strange but now I am curious wot its like! Lol. One thing my OH finds weird, I love chinese food with loads of tomato ketchup! Especially egg friend rice covered in tomato ketchup hmmmmmmmmmm I could just eat it now!!! One thing I am hooked on is Nobbly Bobbly icecreams, I bought 3 multipacks last nite as I had eaten 1 box within 2 days :eek: what a pig!0 -

I went for a major walk this morning with friends (via a brekkie at Morrisons) and am going for a curry tonight but just can't imaging this baby is coming soon
When we were out this morning we saw soooo many heavily pg women and they were all hobbling about,swollen and looking fed up and it sounds weird but I feel too human to be due tomorrow.
This is my 4th and I know it helps that my dd's and ds are keeping me busy and active but just expected to be feeling grotty right now,starting to worry am i actually 40 w tomorrow??? LOL
I was MOANING?? to DH this morning that I haven't even had leaky (o)(o) this time either,he said I should be happy.

Did you know "wet pavement smell" has a name? It's called petrichor, so now you can say "hmmm I love petrichor" and sound all intellectual :-)
Not sure what else I plan on doing with my day.....
Got a letter from Blooming Marvellous to say "for reasons beyond their control, they havent been able to source any more of the product i ordered"....

My BM turned up today - 2 pairs of £3 jeans and a black dress for £14 - bargains!
On the subject, mothercare are having a bank holiday sale with another 10% off and free delivery on some items, plus if you sign up with your details you get a 10% off voucher. Also, if you order through Top Cashback you get another 5% so I just ordered our pram which should RRP at £395 and I ended up getting it for £250 delivered! How MSE is that? :j

Hi all
Just to let you know that my little boy, Thomas Peter was (finally!) born on April 27th at 5.15 am weighing a very healthy 8lb 5 oz.
It was all a bit traumatic but luckily he is perfect and more than makes up for it lolWe stayed in last night and have just come home now. Birth story to follow at some point....and pics as soon as DH gets some uploaded for me.
Have I missed any other births? Any news from Agutka? Can't believe Choccy is still here......lots of labour vibes for youMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
