Hi everyone,

Been home most of the day feeling sick, I feel guilty because of the time off I had with my op but it can't be helped.

Just had a blonde moment (except that I'm brown IYSWIM) I signed up to a lotto site to do the rollover and then realised (after putting in the minimum deposit) that it wasn't actually the official lotto site. I rang them and luckily they have cancelled my membership and will refund me, I wonder how many times they have to do that.

No osiness here because of sickness.

Stroppyjock, I'm glad your results were ok. I hope master Pink's are too.

Eight must be the age kids try out new words.....DS1 was about that age when he came in and calmly asked 'Mum, What's a Condom?'.....after I recovered my colour a little I gently explained that Mummys and Daddys make babies but sometimes the like to practise to make sure they could get it right when they needed to (;)) and condoms stopped them making more babies than they intended.... I could see DS1 starting to look very confused so I stopped mid speech (which I thought I was handling really well) and I said to him 'Why do you ask?' to which he replied 'Ashley Dalkin said I was one'........

I think there's always an 'Ashley Dalkin' in every kids life - the one who 'knows' more than the other ones and delights in blowing away all childhood myths like santa, the toothfairy...and the gooseberry bush!

:rotfl: that set me off down Dalkin memory lane....one day the twins come in and said Ashley had been telling them about 'sexy stuff' (their words!) and I told them if there was any thing they wanted to know I would rather they asked me than listen to more of ashley dalkins mind-blowing tales.

Quick as a flash DS1 says 'What's a w@nker?'.... I said 'Ask your Father' :rotfl:

All the kids storied have been making me laugh. Just but the WM after spending most of the day zonked out on my Mum's bed after taking one of the really strong painkillers for my neck. It's my day off tomorrow, I will be posting something I have sold on Amazon (I am so exctied!):j and filling in lots of personal injury claim forms my solicitor sent me. My OH will be doing lots of housey decorating stuff but I am hoping we get a chance to go to Argoooose to order some garden furniture with the vouchers we got from our housewarming.
