I made it to 41 without a filling!
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Morning All ,

N9eav - good luck at the dentist
Gemma - Hope your OH's ankle gets better soon
Bitsy - I saw that programme and I was yelling at the telly too - one woman gave her 5 yo son a plate of food that I wouldn't have been able to finish after giving him a "snack" of 2 weetabix with fruit and half a pint of milk and a tiny slice of chocolate cake! But because it was all "healthy" she would not be told that there was far too much food there for a 5 yo! She was even trying to make out it was normal for an otherwise healthy 5yo to need a wheelchair to get home from school in - a 700 yard walk!!!!!

Driving lesson was a success! It all pretty much came back to me - was just very surprised by how powerful the car I was driving was! Instructor reckons 8 or 9 weeks for me to be back to test standard! Just need to get on with the theory test now and get it out the way.

OS wise, not much happening today. Tea will be the cod in butter sauce that I didn't cook last night as my lesson was a double rather than a single and I didn't get in till late!

Have a nice day (despite the cloud ) hugs to all xx

Morning all..............((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))) if you need one....

BBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRr its cold here after the lovely warm weather at the weekend, we had to light the woodburner last night and I guess we are going to have to light it again tonight. We are forecast SNOW for next week....uuuuuggghhh.

OH out burying wire to try and keep the bunnies out of the veg patch.....the back garden has been dug over, we have kept one small patch of red hot pokers in a corner but they will be coming out at the end of the season.

Its my quilting group this afternoon, so a chance to natter to others who like quilting. Its the AGM next Wednesday, we have a faith lunch, so I will have to put my thinking cap on what to make........

No idea what I am going to do this morning apart from cleaning out the woodburner.

  • Morning all :)

Good luck at the dentist N8eav, i've got to go next week for a filling

Lovely clear day here again but freezing cold! Or maybe thats just me, the kids and DH don't seem to feel it.

Just me up and its sooooooo quiet. DD is awake but playing in her room and DH and DS are still in bed, lazy boys. DH going to work at 11am and my grandparents are taking DD out for dinner as they see a lot of DS but not so much off DD with her being at school so they like to take her out in the holidays for some time on her own with them.

Washing out on the line already, now my baskets are empty so i might go searching for things to wash, might do dressing gowns - i adore washing :o

Just having a day at home today pottering round, getting jobs done and have some ebay stuff to pack. Chilli and wedges for tea, DD will have her wedges with a portion of bolognese from the freezer as she wont eat chilli. DS eats anything and everything though :D

Hope everyone has a good day, take care all

Just popped back to say PS3 sorted, call Sony, fantastically helpful (and cheery for this time in the morning) young man, we got it sorted in no time. :TCalled OH to let him know as he'd gone out in a right strop because he thought it would cost a fortune to fix. That, and the fact that actually it's his, as I bought him it for Christmas 2008, and those flaming kids had broke it!:rotfl::rotfl:He sounded a bit calmer than he had when he left. Men!!!!(no offence to the rest of you)

Morning folks, back to work today on lates so be prepared for some strange timed posting from me :D

All the dentist goers today, OPEN WIDE!! :D:D I had my work done last month, finally found an NHS dentist after two years. Being ex military and getting free dentistry having to pay the first private dentist bill was a bit :eek::eek:

Grey and overcast here and temp got down to 1.2 last night, and we too are forecast for snow next week, good grief when will winter end!! My heating is off and I really dont want to fire it up again :(

Anyway hope you all have a really nice day, ansd will catch up at my wierd times during the week

Jackieglasgow, yip put me in that strop catagory!! When exhaust started rattling thought I had a big bill approaching.

However seeing as my DD and GF were not home strop/rant was wasted :o

Morning from grey, slightly breezy but not toooo cold Norfolk :D

Have had the blind fitter 'round and have things put back from that. Everything was moved to the middle of the room for him to work and it looked such a lot set there that I decided to sort through and now have a large bin bag to go to the charity shop :)

Waiting for Mr. A to arrive, and need to make a start on the ironing. Dinner today is tacos with all the fixings and tea will probably be scrambled eggs & toast. Off to brew a coffee then meet up with Mr. Iron :(

Hoping Diva is doing well, and thoughts going out to any who are poorly in body or spirit . . .

bitsy - good luck at Tap! luckily in my class we're all at pretty much the same level as we've been together for a long time but we still learn everything in little steps, having it all broken down is the only way I can get it into my head!
    Do what you love :happyhear
