Aww pink, I can't believe you said the H word!

    Great news, stroppyjock!

Having a tea break, kitchen shining, carrot and lentil soup on, Sweet Potatoes and Onions Roasting, along with a butternut squach which will become risotto for another day, and bread proving (plain old white)
Can't take credit for the soup, Flutteryby, as it's a Prima recipe, and I just make it up as I go along now, ut I'll dig the right one out for you, so you get the right quantities. It is delicious, and those are two staples I always have in the fridge anyway.

Off for a surf, EssexGirl style!

Well the park was a disaster as DD was the Devil Child :(
My mum bless her is coming round this afternoon to help with my housework. I'd be lost without her :o

Stroppyjock - excellent news on the results :j

Donny - lots of positive vibes for DS's GF and her 2nd interview :)

Flutterby - oh your poor cousin xx

Pink - Good luck at the hospital - hope you hear good news. And happy birthday to your DS - birthday pancakes sound like a lovely tradition :D

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH

    I am going to either

    a) Sell my kids, or
    b) jump off the roof (how I'd get up there I don't know)

Youngest had just come in, in a huff. DS1 is picking on him, and called him "an ankle biting leprechaun". :rotfl:

I am afraid I laughed. :o I am now the owner of one 7 year old who "hates everyone" in his "whole family", and one who has a leprechaun intolerance. When do the schools go back?

Now where did I hide the valium.........................?

    Afternoon all,

Seem to be lazier than usual to-day, didn't sleep very well last night, was in a panic about the stuff not yet sown in garden....not my usual style but meant that I was tired when I got up this morning and things haven't improved since...the fact that it is seriously colder here this morning doesn't help.

Rest of yesterday's lamb for dinner to-day, will cook some bok choi with it...think that kind of thing is always better the next day anyway.

Finished DD4's teacosy last night except to do some kind of decoration for top....maybe a few knitted flowers.

Good luck to all with dental appointments to-day....hate the expense of going as there is only private dental care here so need to save for a while between visits!

Thinking of going to Sardinia for ten days in June....could do with whole month but OH needs not to be away from Warfarin clinic for so long, it would also be too long for garden.

Hugs to Diva, Ladygrim and OH especially and to all others who feel the need.

    ........?

    :rotfl:

One of my 8 year old twins called the other one a hairy lesbian yesterday  so count yourself lucky you've only got leprechauns. :D When I told her off she said her sister had called her that once too, to which her sister replied that she had only been 7 at the time and therefore didn't know any better.

Just in from work and having a quick cuppa before I get out into the garden again. Tea will be a combination of roast duck, sausages, burgers and prawns as Dtwin2 left the freezer open last night.

Big Happy Birthday kisses and slobbery hugs to DNephew Master Pink :j and good luck to his big brother.

    Good luck to DG's DS's GF. :D
