i volunteer to be head of the new Scum Task Force. I get to look at people and decide if they are decent or scum, and if they are scum, they get ALL their rights revoked.
I wish I was head of the prisons. I see that 50% of lags have Playstation 3's in their cells. I bet quite a few of your kids would like one, but you can't afford it.
I would save the Prison Service tens, if not hundreds of millions a year, whilst at the same time, keeping crime down because reoffending rates would be near 0%. People would rather kill themselves than come back to a prison run by me.
I hate to think of prisoners having anything - and I mean ANYTHING. I would begrudgingly give them some kind of vitamin enriched slop (just to cut down on medical bills) and that is it for them.0 -
Attachment Disorder- a product of poor parenting/boundaries presents sometimes in a similar way to ASD.
Sometimes the diagnoses get muddled.
I'm not having a pop at anyone who faces the challenges of parenting ASD children. I am having a pop at the parents who have screwed theri children up so much by their inept parenting - probably because that child was just a meal ticket anyway- who then think WAHEY...my kid's so screwed up I could probably get a diagnosis for ODD/ASD/ADHD or similar and then get DLA.
It's sick but it happens.
I'm sure anyone interested can google the terms if they are interested.LBM 10/08 £12510.74/0 -

No you are not!

As you will see its not as simple as saying that my child has ASD and as the spectrum is hugh there will some with ASD who do not get any benefit.
As I have said before this is the problem of allowing a system where people can cheat the system because people start to feel that eveyone is at it.0 -

Plenty of countries (Saudia, North Korea) have extreme punishments for crimes and yet people still offend and reoffend. There is no magic wand, it requires both carrot and stick.0 -

Oh yes you are. - Ok I will rephrase that. Some children with ASD are eligible. I know kids who are very high functioning that recieve it.
Not everyone is 'at it' most people are too busy working to screw the system. It takes time and energy but if you have all day why not.LBM 10/08 £12510.74/0 -

Reoffending rates wouldn't be 0%. You're basing this on the very simplistic logic that people only commit crime because they aren't put off doing so by the punishment, which most studies show isn't the case. Crime is committed for a wide variety of reasons (social, cultural, economic etc.) and not soley because people believe the punishment isn't harsh enough.0 -

the trouble is in this dump, they just get carrot. julienne carrots with hummous on top.
you could save loads of money by removing electricity from prisons. then instal excercise bikes in each cell. if they peddle for a few hours, they can have a few minutes of luxury ie light or tv. because of the exercise on the bike, exercise yards can be sold off, raising more revenue.
no kitchens, just stale bread and vitamin enriched slop. why should i have to make my own meals, yet this criminal filth have it cooked for them?
this country needs to give its prison inmates a real punishment - not a holiday camp experience.0 -
anyone who saw the Holloway documentary will know what I mean - it has carpeted corridors, a beauty salon, a gym etc. The best was the outrage after the papers got hold of the pictures of one of the umpteen parties they had thrown for the murderers - gotta have a party right? jack straw, feeling the heat said "no more parties or activities for the murdering inmates". This caused outrage amongst the lefty staff when they cried "does this mean we can no longer have the bingo evening?"
bingo f****ing evening??????? they should be locked in a cold damp cell sitting on a hard floor contemplating the error of their ways. this country is pathetic.0 -
You don't like current prisons. You'd make them more harsh. We get it. Please stop this relentless stream of consciousness.0

i don't like them. you are correct.
and apart from criminals and lefties, i can't see anyone else liking them.0
