    What about Council Tax.

Should it be applied by the ability to pay rather than property value?  Should pensioners have it discounted to 25% say instead of paying the full amount?  The majority of pensioners live pretty frugally and should be allowed a discount like students, instead of struggling to pay phenomenal bills.

    What about taxes on flights.

Should taxes on flights for children be abolished, as they are non-taxpayers etc.?

Good idea - but can we have an 'all pensioners' and 'pensioners on low incomes' choice for the council tax poll.

As a working person who is heavily in debt from having to pay for university education, struggled to buy a house and not guarenteed a retirement if pensions continue to go belly up, I would be interested to see what people think about giving tax breaks to well off pensioners.

    I know - I can be mean :(

What is your main view on Child Benefit?

    1) It is essential for any parent
    2) It should be means tested
    3) It is a waste of money & should be abolished
    4) There should be an increase
    5) The mother should receive it
    6) The father should receive it
    7) It should be split fairly between carers

If £500 mysteriously appeared in your bank account would you:

    a) inform the bank straight away - they must have made a mistake
    b) leave it there for a week or two before withdrawing it
    c) take it out straight away and put it in a min ISA :)
    d) take it out of that account straight away and stash it somewhere else
    e) take it out of that account straight away and spend, spend, spend!

I like both the last too - thanks for that - it's always a nightmare thinking of new ones

    Expect to see 'em both

If you provide your children with pocket money/allowances etc, under what conditions is it given if at all.

    1) They have to do chores around the house etc.

    2) They just get their allowance to do with as they please, few or no restrictions.

    3) They are allowed to spend some and have to save some too.

    4) What they get they have to buy their clothing/shoes etc out of it as well as anything else that they want.

    5) They don't get an allowance as they have a Saturday/part time job etc.

    6) Money is paid to a children's account for them as they are too young just now.

How much pocket money/allowance do you pay your children?

    1) £3-£5 per week

    2) £6-£8 per week

    3) £10 per week

    4) They don't get pocket money

I personally think it should be increased , means tested and given to all regular carers equally

Increased because kids cost a fortune just to feed properly
Means tested because it is ludicrous that it is paid to people who obviously do not need it(the money saved could fund the increase to those who do need it)

Shared equally between carers, they both care for them , feed them etc,so it should be divided.(Amicably but if not enforced)

Should we pay the London Congestion Charge (£5), to cross the Severn Bridge (£4.60), M6 toll etc?

    1) Yes, we should pay for the convenience
    2) No, we shouldn't pay to go anywhere on our roads as we already pay for them.
    3) Yes, but public transport needs to be improved first.
    4) Not when they are the only route between places
    5) Some I agree with, some I don't
    6) Yes, but not as much
    7) Not when companies make huge profits from them
