Have you ever left a shop knowing you had not paid for all your purchases? (how often, how much, how deliberate)
How much more would you pay for an identical item because it had a designer label?
You've asked about savings/debts and income what about a combined how much are you worth? (Savings and investments + value of house - mortgage - other debts)
How well protected are you. Do people have life insurance, health insurance, mortgage protection, critical illness cover, credit card and/or loan protection etc.. (I suppose an "are you better off dead" poll is probably not such a good idea)
How many credit cards do you hold?
How much time do you spend on your finances?0 -
"Apart from your mortgage, which do you consider to be the biggest drain on your finances?"
or
"If you had to cut back, which of the following could you live without?"
mobile, internet, car, DVD ...etcThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
What's the most immoral thing you have considered doing for money:
1) Lied
2) Stolen
3) Forged
4) Abducted your grandmother in a midnight raid using a microlight aircraft to a remote island. Demanded a £1million ransom from your wealthy grandfather and tormeting the poor old lady by not letting her listen to terry wogan. Then, when you have the money, spending it on a life insurance policy for grandma knowing you can collect when she 'accidently' falls off the microlight, on the way home to grandpa, into the island's extinct volcano.
Or is that just me?0 -

You missed out number 5: Ripped off Barclaycard by getting a 0% for life balance transfer and then using the card for new purchases.0 -
How about: How long could you maintain your current lifestyle if you and your partner lost your jobs and couldn't get another one?
A - About 10 seconds
B - Until the last pay packet/redundancy money ran out
C - About 3-6 months from my savings
D - Indefinitely. We are very smug.0 -
Well I had a laugh when I saw that Martin had decided to use the 'i've kidnapped my grandmother for money' suggestion! Perhaps this survey will cause less people to doubt his sanity ;-)

You have applied and got your 0% credit card but under no circumstances can you use it (except for a £1 charity donation). So what do you use the card for?
1) Scraping ice from your car windscreen.
2) Opening your back door when you lock yourself out.
3) Impromptu butter knife for a badly planed picnic.
4) As a credit card (no, no! Read the article again!)
5) As a diving board for mice.
