Furthermore, their use of this forum to try and canvass votes is starting to pee me off royally, to the exent that I may start reporting such posts as abuse.:mad:In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0 -
Nothing surprises me anymore re this bunch supposedly "in power"
They have clearly shown to have lied and cheated the Uk public in so many areas over the years and yet STILL, unbelievably there are those out there who believe they really may be are OK and may be we should give them another 5 years
Apathy and socially dumbed down, along with a massive welfare funded population certainly are Labour's friends, along with the undeniable fact that the Tories just simply really don't seem to actually GET IT either
So no, Labour misuing private information (allegedlly!) really doesn't surprise me at all0 -
Personally I think its nothing short of a disgrace and secondly It should be against the Data Protection Act ,if its not already.
Would also say I'm glad I don't have any political allegiances .I feel sorry for some people on here.0 -

they have not used private information.
if you are worried about an invasion of privacy do you go and tell your story to the daily mail or whatever? Those who will not reason, are bigots, those who cannot, are fools, and those who dare not, are slaves. - Lord Byron0 -
I read this story in the paper and it make me shudder to think someone came up with this campaign idea and no one else along the way from idea to printing press though to point out how distasteful it is. My mum is terminally ill with breast cancer and everyday is a struggle for her to keep it together. Without a doubt if she had (or has) got one of these through the door she would be in tears. Political leanings aside, any party or company who thought this was a good idea is pretty warped.0

The problem is that most of the tories here are open to debate, when the labour supporters dont.
All due to demographics and ability. Those who cant, want. Those who can, do.0 -

Ninky whilst I appreciate I am floggiong a dead horse trying to argue anything with you re labour - lets just say its interesting, the selective parts of posts you pick up on and try and spin.
The fact that you have no issue with this type of propoganda says it all to me thanks......0 -

What's a guarantee and what is it worth?
I'm not against targets per se and hope that we don't go back to those times - under the tories who should be ashamed - where people routinely waited for over a year for a hip operation while experiencing absolutely no quality of life. However we do need to question what we're measuring and why. I don't know if anyone else has read "Blood Sweat and Tea", the blog of a London paramedic, but he states that their target is to get to a patient within the time, not to save lives. Therefore if he struggles through traffic for 15 minutes, gets to a patient and manages to resuscitate them, that is classed as a failure; whereas if there's no traffic, he gets to a patient who lives, then that's classed as a success.
We need to be careful what we're measuring and not just blindly accept that certain targets are right. I don't want to see all targets removed, but I wouldn't be against a review of targets no matter which party instigated it. However that's just my lay-person's view. I'd be interested if there are health care professionals posting on here to hear what they think. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.
