Planning one hour of marking followed by a HHC at 11.30 if anyone wants to join me!

Marking....please don't remind me . I have loads to do plus lesson prep

Will join you for HHC at 11.30

    Last HHC I managed to:

    tidy OH's desk
tidy my side of bedroom and OH's side
    strip the bed
    made a cushion cover
    took loads of bits upstairs

Time for coffee now, me thinks...........
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

  • Hello everyone - and especially to Dusty who noticed I was MIA.

Nothing dreadful or devious: just enjoying having DD back with us after her being away for 9 days, so we've done a little shopping together, and went to see friends of hers for the day yesterday.

Back to reality today! So I'm rolling my sleeves up to try to do Kitchen and Sitting Room in one day. Loads to do (have done an hour of small jobs already), so I'm going to start on a WHC (whole hour's clean!) at 11:15-12:15 to see how much of that kitchen I can shine up.

Must also do some gardening and finish off my on-line delivery from Mr S.

Haven't had time to read back, so I have no idea what has happened - except to read Pigger's bad news - so sorry to hear of your loss.

Right - off I go (and I'd love your company if you can join me :))

I have planning to do today so......

I have nearly finished the bedroom!;)

And I have started some school work, mainly sorting out some Year 7 folders. They can't quite cope with putting work at the back of the folder, or treasury tags for that matter....Yes, they should be doing it in class, but then they're way too tempted to throw the paper around or hole punch each other. Sigh.

DS2 in dire disgrace. Went out last night with some friends, and texted to say he was staying over with someone I don't know, he doesn't know, not happy. DD interceded on his behalf, but I am still exceedingly cross. He took advantage of the bathroom people being here to sneak past me this morning. I'm locking all his footwear in the boot of my car -possibly his phone, the playstation controller and wallet as well. Unless another cup of coffee mellows me.

pigpen - I am very sorry for your loss. I thought Triker put it beautifully, I couldn't find the words.

mumto5 - listen to dusty, she's right. Wishing your DS a very happy birthday!:bdaycake:

I don't appear to have got much done off my list, but I have done the washing up that's been lurking, loaded the DW and put a batch of soup in the SC. I've also cleaned the bath & tiles, washed and re-hung the shower curtain. I've also dealt with an annoying person trying to book clients in for times when I'm clearly unavailable

Hopefully I'll be able to get a bit more done in the next hour.:o
