Hi everyone
Just checking my list.... if it's gone, it's done....my plan for today...whizz through with hoover, either picking things up & tidying them away, or sucking them up into hoovering machinesimples!
Need to concentrate my efforts on downstairs (mum coming to babysit tonightshe's used to the mess here, but I am starting to make more of an effort....you never know, one day she might comment favourably )
No flying at all yesterday....DH took day off & we spent it chatting to some friends & buying & testing a new coffee pot. It looks great & tastes great, but was a bit expensive sssshhhh!
However, as we keep telling ourselves......we don't go out, we don't drink, we don't smoke, don't gamble, rarely buy anything apart from food, so s*d it!
Also today I have to:

Morning all,
Pigpen, thinking of you and your mum today.
Mumto5, it sounds like you're having a really hard time. I hope things improve soon. My ds2 shares a birthday with your little one. Hope he has a good day!
Please can I have a star toots as I completed all three levels for yesterday!
Two days in a row is unusual for me.Unfortunately I'm unlikely to make it to three in a row....internet has been playing up for weeks so I've had limited access which has forced me to just get on with it. This morning Mr Pink has left his laptop (which works no problem) at home so I'm making the most of it!
The sun is shining too so I can hear the garden calling.
Add to that it's ds2's 10th birthday today and I want to take him out this afternoon so I doubt I'll get much done today. On the upside, no tea to make tonight because he's asked for a takeaway :j and I did get up extra early to make birthday pancakes which are a tradition here so the kitchen is clean, all beds are made and there is washing on the line.
Have a good day everyone.

So far, so good. DHL came before I had to go out, so the parcel is gone. The car is in for the service and it should be back before lunch, so I won't have to walk to the hairdresser's. Finally, MIL will look after DS2 for an hour, so that's everything sorted.
Before taking the car, I did a bit more in our bedroom. Now I've got about an hour before we're out again. I need to:
persuade DS2 to have a late breakfast
get DS2 washed and dressed
sort DW and WM (get laundry down from upstairs to sort first)
empty bathroom bin
make beds
take more recycling out
have a cuppa
hoover through downstairs
start putting clothes away
I think I'll join you for the HHC, Summermoon. Hope you don't mind if I start early and carry on until the phone rings and I can go to get the car back.0
