£2,19 here, Im a adult and I prefer them to the adult meals :O I feel just as satisfied with a small meal as a big meal :S
It is a little annoying that you have got overcharged OP and if u was sat in the resturant and you noticed it, id say go mention it, but for the small amount of money in comparison to petrol prices its probs not worth it, just be extra vigulant next time, or maybe even keep the receipt and next time u go in, casually mention it and see what they will do ;)

lol - I used to only eat in "there" when someone paid for me (ie. work).

Now I don't anyway - I go elsewhere, it costs more but not for me, so why go for the cheap and quick crud :p

I'm just interested in hearing the OP trying to justify their rant after a cooling of period!

It may have changed now as I haven't been there for a while but I always used to have happy meals and then an extra portion of chips, for the simple reason that their fish fingers are heavenly and for some reason only come with happy meals!

Edit: Oh god, what a horrible way to start a new page!
