It was...we bored our friends with all our photos and slides when we got back...I think we had 5 or 6 separate "holiday evenings"...our poor friends! :rotfl:

Just so long as you kept to your budget, or at least can justify your overspends...think of the Maldives next year!!!!!

Got a bit of gardening done today...not too much as back a bit achey...just weeded a few pots (well, over 50!!) of cyclamen I potted up last autumn :D
    .

Hope you had a Grand Day Out SF!!

I've had the best day! :D

It was lovely to see my friend and have a good natter and a moan - she even had the flu and really wasn't feeling well but she still made the effort to come. It's friends like that that make you feel worth it, because even though she wasn't feeling great, she still came just to see me :)

I didn't spend too much either! I treated us both to lunch and I bought one dress from N£w Lo0k but that was using a voucher so didn't actually cost me anything :) Enjoyed a much needed starbuck$ during the afternoon, and that was it :)

I feel so much better, it's amazing what a catch up and moan with a good friend can do.

you can't beat a good catch up with friends.
  • OH has treated me to a smoothie maker as well, which is a nice surprise :) I made a lot of smoothies when I lived at home but we don't have a food processor here. This is a lot smaller which helps as we don't have a lot of space - it's quite sad that I'm looking forward to it arriving! :D

Oh I'm totally tragic when it comes to expecting parcels of anything -got a bargain on ebay last week on half a years worth of binbags - so thrilled when the postman knocked:o:rotfl:

Now, don't forget with your smoothie - throw some spinach in:D
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once
