Hi SF:wave:
Hope you remember me from the 4K. Looks like life is going pretty well for you, compared to doing 2 horrid jobs and stuck at home:D.
Met bails for coffee last week and told her I'd spotted you were getting married and she was really happy for you. She gets married in Feb:DI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
:hello: BB! How are you? Aww that's fab about Bails - she must be really happy
How are things for you? Feel free to pop by more often!
Sea - I know, I must keep that in mind!Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I'm happy thanks. I do lurk on the frugal challenge forum sometimes (I do like to check up on my favourite old members) but having got my finances in shape so I know how I spend , and on what etc and generally feeling in control now, my energies have been directed elsewhere.
I'll be back:DI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
You could kill two birds with one stone while you're off & cut old magazines into strips to make some paper chains :rotfl:
I'm a bit like BB in that I don't really follow the 4K thread now; a combination of trying to cut poota time to save on the lekkie, & making so many notes of recipes & stuff I wanted to attempt but not actually getting to do them cuz I was too busy reading about them :doh:Had been wondering about Bails tho as she was hoping to wed back in Sept last time I looked..
According to the local news on the radio this morning, we had between 8 & 10" of snow across our patch during the night  The flakes were tiny yesterday but falling consistently & it's just started again now. I suppose it doesn't look so bad when it's not a blizzard, but still a rarety for us down here. You can't see the four cars parked out front at all; they look like a bleached sand duneGlad I saw it before the kids get out there to build :snow_laug as it looked kinda beautifully eerie in the dawn light...

glad to see you don't have to struggle to get in to work today...try and keep warm to get rid of your cold0

We've had a good 6-8" over night, so not an impressed SF sat here! OH has just gone off to work - I'm not sure he should go really but he thinks differently.
I certainly don't intend to go anywhere today, other than a doctors appointment at 4:10PM. I'm going to sit and snuggle on the sofa in my fleecy blanket and just relax - have got a stinking cold again so don't feel up to much anyway.
BB - I know what I'm doing with my finances as well, but I feel that by joining in a challenge like that just keeps me in line. I must admit, it is totally different now to when I first joined, and I miss the "old" members who used to frequent the thread, but oh well.Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
