I cannot believe how little time there is left. The Christmas concert is in 2 weeks and 3 days, and there is SO much left to do! Arrrgh! Starting the feel the pressure in a big way now. I'm just hoping everything will turn out okay, somehow.

Really tired today, need an early early night.

It's been really horrible weather today, it just hasn't stopped raining. That doesn't help the mood, does it? Yawn.

I hate snow! Grrr.

We've had quite a bit and it's forecast for more tonight, but being -5C as well as if there isn't enough to do before having to factor in a horrible drive to work in the meantime.

Hya, sorry, not been on for a while. Trying to get things done, rather than spending far too lon gon the computer!

Hope the snow wasn't too bad for driving in today SF...looks like the cold weather is going to lurk for a couple of weeks...hope your snow clears though!!

We still haven't had any yet, but it will probably make an appearance over the weekend. Not planning on going anywhere, though DH and DS2 were planning on watching a rugby match...think they may reconsider

Went christmas shopping yesterday and got some more things - seem to be getting there slowly! Also got some birthday presents, there are 6 birthdays in December in our family, including mine and OH so those need buying too - December is an expensive month. Also, because most of them have to be posted so you have to factor in whether or not it would cost a fortune to post!

Having a relaxing day today - we're at my grandparents til this afternoon, so just watching tv and having a lovely sunday dinner is the plan before risking the roads for the 2 hour drive back - I'm hoping that the roads aren't too bad when we get closer to home - apparently the North East has been hit pretty bad over night so hopefully we'll manage to get back okay.

I need to check online banking now.. and balance the books!

Sounds lovely SF My birthday and daughter's birthday are both in Dec - just after Christmas - so could be expensive (not me- her!!).

You've been well organised! My mum lives in Leeds and is driving out to go for a walk today - she says it's not too bad there, but I think the Northern parts of the NE have been hit harder. Safe driving!

At the moment it looks as though someone is shaking a feather pillow further up the road A few bits of white flutter by the window so I'm hoping that's as bad as it gets cuz us 'softee suvvenas' are just not used to anything more

The drive back wasn't great - was hit with snow about half way through which meant the traffic on the motorway was down to 30MPH so it took us a bit longer to get home. Then had to dig my car out and move it to a flat bit round the corner from us so I have at least a chance of getting to work tomorrow! :eek: There has been a good bit of snow over the weekend where we are - I'm just hoping that's the end of it.

I've had a warm mince pie and some warm mulled wine since though so make me feel better I don't mind the snow, so long as I don't have to go out in it!

Currently sat at home whilst it's snowing outside - am not attempting getting to school yet as I can't even move the car, never mind get up the big hill I need to to get out of the village. Grr. Stupid snow!!
