Yawn. Today has been a long day - I've been in lectures all day and it has been so strange just being sat there after months of hectic work. So, yes, very long today.
But, in good news, it's been another NSD for meHaving no money to spend helps this though! :rotfl:
Going to have an early night as am shattered - though I think that's from not having to do much. Going to watch a DVD and potter round the net and then bed.Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Well, didn't end up going to bed til after midnight! Got distracted by films and the internet :rotfl:
Well, today has been another long day. Spent all afternoon in a very stuffy computer lab so am now sleepy and got a banging headache. So, nothing really exciting planned for this evening - have borrowed 24 Series 3 from a friend so intend to watch some of that and then attempt an early night
6th NSD for June as wellnot doing badly! Feeling quite positive today, for a change.

This is me musing more than anything, so feel free to ignore!
I really really need to get in control with my eating. I have had issues in the past with food and I fear that they are starting to creep back in, and not in a good way. So, instead of willing let that happen, I am going to try and focus on being positive around food and eat more healthily, whilst trying to lose weight in the right way at the same time.
So, I've thought about what I need to do to achieve this:
- eat 3 meals a day - I have got into the habit of always skipping breakfast, and sometimes skipping lunch and/or tea some days, which I KNOW is not healthy. Nor is it really making any difference; I lose weight rapidly but then always gain it back.
- NO snacking - I need to cut out the bad things that I sometimes buy that I end up snacking on - so this includes crisps, chocolate, biscuits and cakes. I'm not the kind of person to just have one of something and put the rest away - so it's all or nothing. Therefore, it has to be nothing.
- Eat more fruit and vegetables - I actually love fruit and veg, I just don't really have any idea on what to do with it most of the time! I'm getting better at getting my 5 a day, but recently it's going downhill again. I do have blueberries, grapes, strawberries and raspberries in the fridge, but that's it. I need to incorporate more salad-y stuff.
- Tea time meals need to be proper meals! As much as I try to convince myself that half a tin of soup and nothing else is a good teatime meal, it does not do me any good in the long run; I invariably end up eating later on anyway, which defeats the point!
My goal weight is 8 stone 3lbs.
This might seem low, but at my age (23) and height (5"1) it is within the healthy range. Apparently, I can be 7 stone 4lbs and still be healthy - NO chance! :rotfl:
Any tips?Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I think firstly you need to relax......
Im the same with food and im also trying to lose weight, i find i think about it all the time and when im eating one meal thinking already about the next.
I lost 7lbs this week and that was through, meal planning, cutting my portion sizes down a little, exercising, and then keeping myself occupied so that im not thinking about what is to eat next....
I always have found in the past as soon as i say to myself im on a "diet" i crave everything that i shouldn't have, so just relax about it a little but make sure the meals you do have are planned healthy ones.
Good Luck...........................Im not financially savvy as im still learning but i love to support anyone that needs it and give virual hug's and tea!!!Can't do Bickie's Sorry, need to lose weight!!!Challenge 1 : Sealed Pot Challenge, No : 810Challenge 2 : Dragon's wake up callChallenge 3 : Aug 8/15 NSD's0 -

Although I am 10 years older than you  and I am 5ft 3" I weigh just over 9 stone. Last year I could not eat or drink for the best part of four months and I was admitted to hospital a few times. My weight had been 9 stone 12lbs and it went down to 8 stones 6 lbs and I looked and felt crap! My doctor stated that I was to never go below 9 stone weight again if I could help it!
Are you sure 8 stone 3lbs is a good weight for you - like it would not look right on me because I am of a big build? My oldest sister is 7 1/2 stone but she looked much better when she was pregnant and weighed almost 9 stone. Another one of my sisters couldn't eat on and off for four years and her weight was down to 5 stone she ended up with osteoporosis and now needs a stick to walk. She is like this since she was 31 years old.
What does your bf think? BTW I know it is none of my business but please think carefully before dieting.0
