It went really well! :j :j plus I handed in my essay so I can finally start to relax a bit now. Just my standards folder to finish and that's it :)

Also had another NSD so that's good - don't know if I'm going to reach my target or not for May though.

I'm so tired, so I'm having a relaxing evening and not doing anything on purpose :) Watching Ashes to Ashes for the millionth time :)

Thanks Jo - it's not going according to plan at the moment. I'm fed up of trying to please everyone. I can't.

thanks you two - you're the only ones who comment!

Why is nothing ever simple? Took the car to the garage this morning as the handbrake has become a bit dodgy - just got a phone call from them to say that the rear brake drum has worn away and needs replacing - at £130. I can't afford that! Grrr. I'm so fed up.

Don't think I'm going to make the target for moving out which means it's gonna be really tight.

Life is never simple just when things are starting to go right something else goes wrong. However I would think to myself that I was glad I found out this way rather than have an accident and pay the ultimate price. Hope your day gets better!

Good luck with the car SF.

I agree, it's better to get things sorted rather than have a nasty accident

Try and enjot the rest of your last week. ;)

    Ain't that the Truth :o
I have to say that altho it's a lot easier to see the negative of any situation, with a bit of effort you will always find a positive. Who is the famous cleverist, who said "To every action, there is an equal & opposite reaction"? I think it originates from the Sciences but can be applied to absolutely everything else in Life.

    a) £130 is a lot less that £1300 for an almost decent second-hand motor if yours couldn't be fixed.
    b) You WILL find the money--you always do.
    c) Look at how you can still make target--what can change? For one thing, the travelling to Placements will be ending very soon; more time to prepare your own meals, go whoopsie hunting, selling surplus-to-requirement text books to next year's intake, researching rental/ first time buy opportunities...
    d) You are tired & emotionally drained from all the planning you have been doing for your course & private life. Give yourself a huge pat on the back for completing a difficult academic year, raise a glass--even if it is only water :D--to your success & enjoy reaching that major turning point in your career choice. THEN worry about everything else :o
