Could anyone kindly point me in the right direction of a price chart for PO despatches?
RM Standard Parcels will cost you £5.31 and they're pretty quick these days.0 -

Or wrap the bubbled book in an un-opened bin liner, it can look quite good if they are the sturdy ones and you pull it nice and tight and tape it neatly0 -

If no bin liners are to hand a thick plastic carrier bag, the sort that clothes shops use can be made to look pretty good too, either use it the right way out or inside out.
I use 'documents enclosed' pouches and they stick to anything but if you are just using an ordinary sticky label I think that it's best taped down for added security, and I put a blank label on (taped down too) for the post office stamp to stick to - I'm neurotic about this because one of my books lost it's PO sticker, in the post office sack I suppose and it caused no end of bother refunding the buyer who had to pay at his end.0 -

I work in IT and have large supplies of cardboard
I flatten out a box, lay the book on it, use the folds from the box where possible, score more creases to fit the book, fold into place, trim where appropriate and tape the whole thing together.
Very satisfying - they look neat, compact and sturdy and I've done my bit for recyclingMy TV is broken!

Wallpaper lining paper's good, and only £1 a roll at Wilko's. Also, our local decorating shop does cheap odd rolls of paper at 50p eachJust because you used to be you think everybody else is, don't you?0

Hi all from a happy bunny!
I ordered 5 copies of Peter Pan In Scarlet Signed Liited Edition of 1500. They were £8.57 each from Amazon.
They turned up today. I thought the order would be cancelled but no.
I am chuffed, these are selling for £150 - £200 on ebay and will probably go up when the film comes out in a couple of years.
Got to be my best buy yet!To win a competition gives you the spirit to carry on (Comping).0
