I t would help if I knew when it was listed Is there any way of finding out? I can't see anything obvious on my sellers account but I'm not that good at all this, any quick help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Just tried looking at a couple of things I've sold recently in my seller account and unfortunately don't think there's any way of finding the date you listed it.
However, I do save all my amazon listing confirmation emails and could find the info out if I did a search of my amazon emails folder for the title. You don't save these emails too do you?0 -
Well I'm truly back from my holidays after a trip to the post office (1 book) today.
I have a book from Read It Swap It - someone else initiated the swap, I saw one of their books that I felt like reading but intended to sell on Amazon afterwards. When the book came there was a 'BookCrossing' slip of paper in it requesting me to release the book once I'd finished with it, and update the BookCrossing site so the person knew what was happening/where it was.
What would you do with this? I think BookCrossing is good, but I didn't choose to give my books away, she asked for one of mine and I got one of hers in return, so surely the book is mine to do whatever I want with it?
I know there's nothing to stop me listing it and I probably will, but I feel a bit peeved, and am not sure whether to put anything on the BookCrossing site or not.
Anyone else had this?AMAZON SELLERS CLUB member 0022 come and join us :hello: make some space and get hold of some cash, we're on the Ebay and other auctions, Car Boot and Jumble Sales Board0 -
There was a discussion about this on the RISI boards once.
If they haven't indicated in the description that it's on bookcrossing, you can mark them down as it has markings not mentioned. Also, if you don't want to do bookcrossing, you don't have to.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

Thanks, I don't think I'll mark them down as it doesn't really worry me but I just felt a little awkward thinking they expected me to read it and then give it away, for all they knew (it was a parenting book) I wanted to keep it! I searched the RISI forums and people seem a lot more relaxed about bookcrossing journal entries etc than I thought, so I think I'll jsut update it as received, finish reading it then list it and forget it till it sells.AMAZON SELLERS CLUB member 0022 come and join us :hello: make some space and get hold of some cash, we're on the Ebay and other auctions, Car Boot and Jumble Sales Board0

Hi Annie
Don't know if I'm too late to help, but if you look on your Sold, Dispatch Now email there is a 'Listing ID' the first four numbers represent the month and day the item was listed eg Listing ID: 1123A862945 means it was listed on 23rd of November.
