Didn't realise the O2 problems were just on there non llu products.
Which Access tariff do you mean? I can only find standard, pro and premium.
I might as well sign up for upto 20 meg. Our exchange was supposed to be done by 31st March 2010 but not been done yet.
The O2 checker won't offer you the Access tariff if it recognises your number as being on an LLU exchange. So that confirms that you are LLU.
Check what speed your line can actually support before opting for Premium. If it won't support much above 8Mbps then no point in paying for the extra over Home-you can always upgrade at any time-but not downgrade.
The fact that your exchange has been upraded to ADSL2+ does not mean you will get anything like that speed on your line-the service is up to 20Mbps.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

Not quite right. If you don't get over 8Mbps you can downgrade to Standard - O2 check your speed and after a week or so you get an email regarding the package you are on.0 -
Just checked on o2 website and they say I can get 16mb
We've estimated that your maximum download speed is 16 meg .This is based on information BT gave us about your BT line.
So its definate that all the problems people are having are on the access one and not the LLU?0 -
Go through the complaints people are making about 02, both here and on the O2 user's forum and form your own conclusions.
And look at the number of people who are very happy with the 02 LLU service, myself includedNo free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Getting my mac address from plusnet today and going to order o2 this weekend
With regards to line rental. I never use the phone. Can I switch to Primus line rental and still get o2 broadband llu ?
Thanks0 -
I have just switched (yesterday) to o2 superb service.
You also get a discount if you have the phone from o2 or have a sim card from them, well worth looking into.0 -
Anyone else know if I can use a different line rental company and still get O2 LLU ?0
