    You are joking aren't you?

That could be 100 times before they are handed over to the receipient!

Would you have expected them to knock every half hour, hour, 4 hours, twice a day, once a day, 3 times a week, once a week, once a month and so on until your daughter had her flowers??

What if the recipient is on holiday, or in hospital, or is out from 7am - 9pm every day at work?

Delivery, is taking an item to your home. It was free delivery as the company do not charge for taking the item to your home.

Again, not their fault if nobody is at home and they aren't mindreaders.

You should have used one of those companies then.
    Yes I probably should have.
  • I have used bloomingdelightful loads of times and never had any issues at all, everyone who I have sent them too has been really pleased. Their prices are significantly less than interflora and delivery is free. I know they cant guarantee the date of delivery but for the prices they charge I dont see that as too much of a problem. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again ;)

Although not happy at what I see as a failure to deliver on an agreed date, to be honest, my bigger issue is with what I experienced as appalling customer servive.
I avoid like the plague any company that basically says 'tough' when things go wrong.
It's easy to be viewed as good if there haven't been any difficulties.
The real test is how they deal with problems and/or unhappy customers.
In my opinion they deal very badly in these areas and hence I certainly shan't use them again.

I have had good CS from them too....and it was due to my own mistake. I some how placed two of the same order. As soon as I realised I phoned CS and they cancelled the second order, no questions asked. Lovely, polite and helpful. And with regards to you being unhappy about the delivery date failure, it does specify on their website that they cannot guarantee to deliver on your specified date....but we each have our own thoughts and experiences *shrugs* ;)

Indeed we do. Thanks for sharing.
  • My Daughter ordered some flowers for me for Mothers Day April 3rd. It is now the following day and i have not received any flowers. My daughter and i both tried ringing this company, but they are either engaged, and when their phone does ring no one answers. I have E.mailed them on my daughters behalf as she is at work, and i haven't received a reply.
Can anyone tell me how do i get in touch with Bloomin Delightful florist !!!!
It is getting beyond a joke now, trying to contact this company. I have no flowers and my daughter has paid out foir these.
  • I ordered a bouquet for my friends birthday. I opted for the florists special bouquet and paid an extra £5,00 for 30% more flowers. I also included a balloon, which turn out to be the size of a cup coaster!! The flowers were delivered on time, but were nothing like the bouquet they advertise online. They were not wrapped as decribed and contained only a small number of flower, some of which were wilted. I emailed the company with a picture to query this and they asked for another! I sent a further picture and they emailed to tell me that the bouquet was as it should be. When I emailed again stating how unhappy I was with this they said that I could receive a refund if the bouquet was returned in their original condition!! This would seem to be unlikely as they were a gift! AVOIID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE.

They are not florists, they are a box flower company. Try using google to find the nearest real florist to where you want to send flowers to. X
  • My boyfriend ordered me a bouquet of flowers, a teddy and a balloon for Valentines. They were ordered well in advance. On Valentines Day I had a call from the local paper to say the box had been found dumped down a residential road on the grass verge, the contents of the box missing.

Obviously I was upset as this ruined the surprise and my boyfriend was angry that this had happened.

We rang bloomin delightful who couldn't have cared less. They told him to ring Royal Mail, to which he replied it was their job to make sure the item arrives, not his. He asked them what he was supposed to do..... they suggested they send out a new bunch but that it wouldn't arrive until the 16th! He asked to speak to a manager, he was hold there was no manager in that day (which I find hard to believe on the florists busiest day of the year). Despite them being less than half a hour from the delivery address, they were not prepared to send someone out to deliver the flowers so they arrived on time or arrange any sort of good will gesture. It was either a refund and no flowers or flowers 2 days late. The staff were rude also. My boyfriend then rang back and asked if he could come and collect them instead if they weren't going to do anything to resolve the issue. The response was he had to be there by 5 or he wouldn't be able to get the flowers. So even as a good will gesture, they were not prepared to even wait 15 mins for him if there was traffic! Terrible terrible company. They also said to ring when he arrives and a manager will take him up...... the manager who a hour before we were told wasn't in that day! When he arrived he didn't even get an apology!

Now yes, you could say this is Royal Mail's fault, but it is Bloomin Delightfuls responsibility to use a reliable delivery method, plus the way the complaint was dealt with was atrocious.

I will never use this company, neither will my boyfriend and I will be telling all my friends and family the same thing! I just wish we had of seen all the terrible reviews online first before ordering!
