That is not a shrinking bottle, but telling the thickos to put more liquid in and therefore buy more.
No, they probably added water and kept the same size bottles to fool the thickos who only notice that the bottle has not shrunk and therefore think the price has not gone up...0 -
one cal spray oil has shrunk to a skinny can ! price hasn't though !. FEB GC £255.82£240 :mad::mad:
MAR GC 230.46/ £240 :T:T

The latest 'great shrinking food' that I found is Frylight oils.
The cartons used to be 250 ml but are now 190 ml. That's quite a drop!
Interestingly, Tesco (matched by Waitrose) are selling the 'new' packaging at the same price as the old. So 24% less costs the same! Asda is still selling the old packaging. My local Sainsbury's has reduced theirs but for how long?
I agree bargain hunter. Fortunately I stocked up when I posted this back in September but my stocks can't last for ever.:(0 -

I noticed that. I'm still working my way through old stock that I bought in bulk but won't be very impressed when I do have to replenish.
I also was reminded about the size of washing liquid as I found liquid in my garage today size 925ml - what was delivered today was 888ml and I'm sure I remember the original bottle being on watchdog and being over 1000ml....0 -
Not a food item but I noticed in Poundland that their craft/stanley knife blades are in packs of 10 not 20 like they were until recently. 100% price increase .0

Tesco chickens in the 3 for £10 deal are smaller if you buy them at the weekend.
If you buy them during the week they weigh 1.5kg. If you get them at the weekend you'll be lucky to get them weighing 1.35kgs.0 -

Bakers Meaty Meals dog food was 3kg for £6.99, now 2.7kg for the same £6.99. So 10% (70p) increase in price for the same amount.0
