I know you were and I know different people want different things.

BTW, I would never say never to a 99 per cent of the time snugglely woman but she would have to be special.

I used to go out with a lovely guy, he was thoughtful, caring, very generous and a real gent, BUT I just didn't have that spark with him and I sooo wanted to. Some lucky girl will be very happy......why do I always like the bar stewards!

why is being attracted to someone for their looks considered shallow? Are looks not just a trait about an individual as is their personailty?
would it not be shallow to like someone for their looks and not their personality?

i could win the lottery this weekend and be instantly more attractive to a lot of women, that is shallow. imo.
What's it going to be, eh?

Its the 'trophy' thing. Some good looking people also think that because they're good looking, they don't have to bother in other areas. It all comes down to good old merialism.

Why have a Metro when you can have a Porsche?!

With looks, you get what you're given. With personality? That takes work. We all know someone who is an absolute joy and someone who is a bore. To have looks and personality without being egotistic is a gift.

But then...beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
  • That'd be 'materialism'!

OOPS! Who let the stereotypes out?
I don't think that having someone who will hold you when you're down or life is hard or who is funny and spontaneous can be bought. If you live your life by your bank account (or theirs) you really narrow the field. So no, money isn't the top priority!
What well-managed money can do for you is give you peace of mind - and that's priceless! :) (That made sense when I thought it  ).
If the world was supposed to run on money instead of love and hope, I think we'd be extinct now - not everyone in history was rich after all.
Having said that, I've tried being poor and have decided I don't like it so I'm ready to try rich now - that's life, not men!:D
