Does money buy love?

I've read in the last few days in Newspapers about the new "Easy life" generation.

If the papers are correct, it would seem the young women of today would rather go for wealth. They no longer want to work hard and have equality with their men. All it would seem is that they want an easy life and to marry someone rich.

Personally I think that has always been there. When I was a teenager, girl's always went out with the lads with cars or jobs (therefore money to take them out). As some others have said, when you get older, this matters less although you'll still find it easier to pull if you have "wealth". Women judge men by their ability to provide.

I was shocked when I heard that. And they want have a £1million but not work for. And there husbands/partners should look after and keep them even if they don't have children. So they don't have to go out to work I was like :eek:

What ever happened to indepedent woman.

I am not interested in money at all. I just want a man who i can have fun with, who cares about me and I about them.

I would never choose someone based on whether or not they were rich because as far as I am concerned I am more interested in their personality than their material goods.

I have a new man who even though he is not loaded treats me well.
But then I am at an age when mutual respect, friendship and laughing togeather mean more than the flash cars etc... I dont have to worry about the crows feet (laughter lines) or making sure I have my face on.

We have had a cheap night tonight, one drink and a game of pool then back to his for dinner and a movie.

How old are you though? This artcle I read interviewed women who were all < 26 (I think).

Its another side effect of the "have it all now" society we live in. People just dont want to wait anymore for anything and pretty young women now just prefer to use their feminine charms on rich and gullible men! LOL

its all sad - why cant a woman look at aman for something else rather than money - what about personality? what about what we have to offer? what about love, realtionships and what about respect.

i may sound like an old fart here but women (not all, but most) go out on a fri / sat nite looking like tarts - miniskirt? like a belt! and have no self respect - go out and just sahg about.

i will never understand it. yeh im 20, but at the end of the day, i just cant understand why lassies at 18 - 25 will actually do that (as i siad, not all do but most)

Yeah, but do women do it because men go for that look? It seems to me that most men judge on looks/accessibility rather than personality and such like too. There are two sides to the equation.

in my opinion, without being horrible, it makes the lass look slutty and imho - is a bad look.

I am totally with you on that, but don't you think that they do it because they know it gets men interested, albeit for not the nicest of reasons?
