I've got some Yankee points to spend too. Mind you after buying the above mentioned tarts I totted them up and I have 11 of them left to burn (not counting the Festive ones left over from Christmas that may be burnt before hand), about 6 votives, 1 medium and 1 small jar, and some scented tealights so will hold on for a while. x
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • Bit of a bump on this thread, as I've only just found it, but thought I'd tell you that I bought a Cherry Vanilla 19oz jar at B&Q in Rochdale this week. They were on a stand near the paint. The jar was £12.99 which I think is a bargain. They had tarts and a few other jars (lavender, sea breeze and a coffee smelling one which I didn't like). I normally pay £17.99 for a jar so thought this was great value.

I'm a huge Yankee candle fan and gave these a try and they are AWFUL. Hardly any smell to them at all. Don't waste your money:mad:

The candles in B and Q are not Yankee candles.

Yes they are, I bought about ten today! some were even reduced. They have the glass lid with yankee candle engraved in the glass and also they have yankee all over the lable and the bottom. B and Q would not be allowed to sell fake Yankee candles as its a trademarked name and they would be prosecuted.

I have one burning now and the smell as a potent as usual.
Never argue with a fool, they will lower you to their level and then beat you with experience.........!!!:rotfl::T
