I don't think missing the first day of school will be too much of a problem. Why don't you try ringing the school and telling them that you don't get back from holiday until Friday?

I kept getting binned cause i kept getting my bank security wrong and had to keep going through it but still got the date in the end!!!

I don't even know if he'll be going yet as I've turned down the place he was offered, lol. He'll also only just be 4 so I might ask if he can start later anyway...if not, he'll miss the first day. What a daft day to start anyway.

I wouldn't worry too much about your son. Just ring the school and explain. Is he on half days to begin with? That's what they do here. If so, he won't miss much anyway

I love Lakeland. We went twice last year. There are so many things to do in the area.
