If it was something I was considering I think I'd prefer not to pay and for someone very knowledgeable to do it for me, but on MSE forum we know a man who can and will.
He probably knows far more about the regulations and whether a debt is unenforceable that most employees of these type of cowboy firms.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

I think someone told you to come post on my thread and yea, i'll do it for you - FOR FREE!
You do the work, post the results and i'll tell you what to send next and even type the bloody letter for ya!
On a serious note, this must be a wind up, right? Nobody actually pays firms to chase unenforceability do they? Do they? :rotfl:
Try reading the first 2 pages of this and you'll see, save your money or pay the debt with it if you have so much of it lying around - even better, i'll do it for you for a fiver less instead of for FREE!
Sorry, but this is ludicrous and this thread should really be closed - its is spam, the firm in question cannot make such guarantees and also do not have 1000's of successes, if they did i'd have heard of them before today!

My feeling is that at least some of the people posting on this thread are not totally impartial.
I think you are right. This is beginning to look like a self promoting spam for this claims company.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

If I do all the work etc. would you or do you know somone who take a look at the details and see if I have a claim etc. Id be more than happy to split the £495 with you0 -
No You are wrong. The 6 test cases all ruled in favour of the lenders. However, MBNA bottled out on two cases just hours before the trial began. Bet they wish they hadn't following the outcome..
Can I stress that the only thing that was set in stone as a result of the Carey vs HSBC {and others} Judgement was that an original agreement must be provided before any action can be taken. Ergo, if a lender does not have an original then they will be unable to get the courts to enforce the debt. However, lots has been said about recons and copies - tough! No original = no action.
Regards to the reporting of account conduct with CRA's - this is a direct result of the McGuffick v RBS case (last year) which basically allows the lender to report an accurate trail of events to the CRA's so they can default you and they can also chase for collection of monies, so long as reasonable collection activities does not cross into harassment.
The basic understanding, fact, is that no original agreement means no action can be taken which allows the debtor to utilise s.127 to the hilt.
Regards to the actual judgements, both McGuffick and Carey are rumoured to be submitting appeals as in both cases there were circumstances whereby the actual judge made errors, these were picked up and documented and will be used to overturn the decision. In fact MBNA done the right thing by walking away the day before court - they realised they were leaving themselves wide open, as is the case with RBS (watch this space!) :rotfl:2010 - year of the troll

Eh?
I do not want money mate! I spend all day and night wiping debt for people, for free. Read my thread and use the letters and when they respond, you upload the reply, post the links/replies and I will do the work for you - as I said above!

Thanks so much for this thread. I had a call from Delete (UK) Ltd a couple of hours ago. I told them I thought it was all too good to be true and I intended doing some internet research. Strangely I couldn't find anything on Google, apart from a link to a recent post on MSE. This post had been removed but Google had it cached.
A forum search led me here.
Thanks again0 -
This company have been ringing me for days. I keep ignoring their calls but today I answered it to see who it was. Been watching the caller ID - 08009878844 - don't like answering to numbers I have not heard of - if it is anyone important I feel they would leave a message.
I dont have £500 up front to pay them to check. I know I have some debt - but I am slowly paying it off. Managed to get £400 off since March. We had to use our credit cards to the max when hubby wasn't working so we could pay all our bills - mortgage, council tax, utitily bills, etc.
I feel very supicious of them. Reading this made me feel better about telling them poiletly - thanks but not thanks.:j cross stitch forever, housework whenever :j0
