That's entirely up to you. I lost a cat about 18 months ago, died at home right in my arms. She's buried in the back garden, I look out the kitchen window and know she's there.
Sorry but I started watching the video, a few seconds after the start I had tears streaming down my face. I had to turn it off.
OP - I'm sorry to hear of your loss. It was a few days before I was able to pull myself together after Cindy died.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £16,087.170 -
I'm so sorry. xxxxx

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss - we also had a trip to the vets yesterday to have our beloved goldie pts. My husband stayed with her while I stayed with the children - a very sad household today. I like to think of her being able to run around now and free from her ailing body. My thoughts are with you. x0

How dreadful for you, and what a wonderful life she must have had with you. It all sounds so similar to losing my girl last Easter, a year, and it does fade a bit. What a lucky girl, you were brave to stay with her, its horrible, isn't it, but the only thing for me to do, and you too.Just got back from the vets, we had to have our 16 1/2 year old crossbreed PTS - hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life.
I got her as a rescue from Battersea when she was about 5 months old, and she's been my constant companion since then - and loved my DH from the moment she met him, although she wasn't that keen on men to start with!
The house seems so quiet now, even though she had dementia towards the end and changed considerably, she was still a presence.
Hopefully time will be a healer and DH and I won't be feeling as horrible as we are now - she was a fighter till the end, she had to be sedated first (wasn't that happy with the needle in her leg) and the 3 lots of anaesthetic to do the job properly - she didn't want to leave us.
Don't know why I've typed this, don't know what else to do I suppose!
Hugs, darling, it will fade, and you'll never forget her. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
