this is at an organisation which deals with gambling and people who are affected by someone in their family gambling. i didn't want to counsel children, though a few people in my class have placements at schools.Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!

Just been to pick up DS2 (aged 14) and he has been to hospital to get a nasty split in his head glued on his own:eek:
He said that he couldnt get a signal and as the hospital was within walking distance he just went with his friends. He then went back out on his skateboard until I have only just picked him up.
I feel sick:(But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
How was it for you Sammy?
He went through my form this afternoon where I had admitted depression - one period, relatively mild 2 years ago. He said 'Was that due to work?' to which I replied 'No, having a crap father'. Sometimes I think I am too straight talking!

do you really want to know.......mmmmmmm
I had the surgery were they scrape the cornea back instead of slicing the cornea..(I can't remember what they are called now but it depends on the thickness of your cornea) the slicing one is the one when you recover quicker...the other one took me about two weeks to get over. First night was like having red hot pokers in my eyes.....and couldn't focus for a couple of weeks. I could drive  but couldn't work cos I couldn't see to read.
I was told that my short sightedness would probably develop into long sightedness and sure enough I now need glasses for reading which takes some getting used to.
I also suffer from dry eyes which is why I couldn't use contact lenses. My eyes are even drier now and I still need drops....
I haven't regretted it but I wish I had been a bit more prepared for the pain and discomfort for a couple of weeks. The other surgery is a piece of cake i believe.Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

even before Cruella I think I was getting a bit sick of the PR industry but I was enjoying the webmaster part of the job. I'd been in it (in 3 jobs) for over 13 or so years even when she appeared. My webmaster skills are too basic to get a job doing just that and I like to have fresh stuff to learn every few years, makes me feel inquisitive and eager to work.

Thanks for the tips girls, I think I'll do what Luc said and persevere for a few weeks and see what transpires. Could just be that my 46yr old legs are protesting at being made to work..Debt-free...and staying that way...0

My Mum doesnt in particular but because of the amount of placement hours she needed she basically had to take anything that she was offered.
