Re: Account No/Reference No:
I write with reference to the money which you are claiming on the above account.
I can confirm that I am unable to offer to pay the money which I owe in full (Add details of your circumstances and financial situation). However, I can raise £ (put the amount which you can afford to pay) and I want to offer this as an ex-gratia payment in full and final settlement of the account. This offer is made on the clear understanding that, if accepted, neither you or any associate company will take any other action to enforce or pursue this debt in any way whatsoever and that I will be released from any liability.
I also request that, if accepted, you will mark any entry on a credit reference agency file relating to the above account as "satisfied" in full.
Payment can be made within (put the number of days or weeks within which you will pay) of receiving your written agreement of this offer and method of payment.
I look forward to receiving your reply.
Yours faithfully

Just checked my online CCCS statement and was shocked at how much my creditors received this month. I had made a reduced payment for the first time due to unforeseen circumstances. Some of my creditors only received £1.60 normally get £5.00 I am expecting them to kick off. I have wrote to all of them and explained my situation so I guess I can just wait and see.
I bet they contact me at the weekend and ruin the bank holiday they always seem to do this.Mikon Riding the DMP Rollercoaster full of ups and downs but i will get to the end. :T:j

Can you just clarify a point in the F & F template you posted. Where you state (Add details of your circumstances and financial situation)
Would I write that i have over committed and had a reduction in salary or do I put something else.. please advise.
I await your advice I know it might be self explanatory but I must be slow or thick.
Thank you Prof PPMikon Riding the DMP Rollercoaster full of ups and downs but i will get to the end. :T:j

Will this suffice
I am currently on a Debt Management Plan with CCCS since June 2010 paying £5.00 a month to you this is as a result of a reduction in salary and over commitment on credit.
I owe £200 and have made an offer of £45 F & F whats your thoughts, I have also stated that my mother is providing the funds.
Your advice is much appreciated.

And me too please Teds. You are a real gem.
Good luck with your review Nitty.
I've just been informed Egg have sold my debt to Barclaycard. Gutted as Egg reduced me to 0% eventually but BC are charging interest on my other account. Trying to think positive.... ho hum.
Hope you are all making it through the week. x
Mmmmmmmmm, in similar boat re. Egg, although they rang me and claimed nothing would change, so we will see, but if they start charging interest then the beast will reawaken (I havent paid a penny in interest since the start of my DMP and don't intend to start now) PPLBM Jan 2010. DFD 2016.

Thanks for all your help. I am going to send this off and see what happens. Quite excited in some ways but nervous in another if you know what I mean.
Thanks once again
