Good luck to the Small Boy. Is he doing GCSEs? My twins are coming up to theirs and are a bit stressy at times. Lots of late finishing of course work going on here.

Thanks Mac. The fashion bit is fun cos I don't do fashion so this is as close to size 10 glasto chick as I'm ever going to get.
Seaxwyn you have it in duplicate - not fun. I've not forgotten about the other stuff, just gone a bit mad trying to get the physical space together. I have some info I'll try to get to your OH asap. Honestly don't worry about the other stuff! If it comes through, we'll be chuffed, but we're not relying on it. OH about to apply to be a Tesco Delivery Driver - I hope!Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

Hi KJ,

Back again.
In shop trying to work out the best way to drive up customer numbers. I think a flyer showing what we offer and how the pricing structure works may be the way to go.
On the housing front the kitchen gets a new floor this week and the library (ok very small room with bookcases) should be finished joinery-wise leaving the painter to do a quick finish off and carpets to be ordered. I don't think much change from £3k will be seen this week
OH and SB are tasked with clearing the garage into the large new shed, that will require pointed boot kicking tomorrow.
Consultancy front is quiet but to be brutally honest I'm sitting back and letting them come to me. With the house, flats, shop, websites and 3 sets of year-end accounts I'm too pushed to take on a 50/60 hour a week role and travel. I can justify that if there's nothing on the horizon but I will take it if one comes begging - that's my karmic deal with devil.
Not MSE but enough plates are spinning to keep me out of mischief. Oh and I have to put Grandad's house on the market this month so more time consuming stuff.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
Having an ahhhhhhhhh day.
Having diligently archived all email so machines could be swapped out it seems that Outlook and Outlook Express are not compatible for bring the archive back. Without the files I can't do the accounts.
So, new extension now like reject section of PC Worl with numerous PCs and Microsoft configurations running - we have machines with XP, Vista and 7 now. On top of that there are various versions of Office running with Professional, Home and Works trying to find the magic unlock that will bring the files back home.
Now off to shop to try config there, if that works I may be "nicking" that machine and swapping in another one.

Now someone remind me how computers make our lives easier?- Not having to write in ledgers like in the Old Days
- Internet banking
- Internet shopping
- Surveys etc giving us free money
- Ebay!
- Instant news making it harder for the Powers That Be to hide inconvenient truths from the masses *removes tinfoil hat*
- When you have a shiit day you can google "Thierry Henri shirtless" or whatever takes your fancy and improve your day tenfold

True but at least the ledger stays put if your pen goes phut!
Internet shopping - good and bad. So easy to browse, to spend, to covet. In the old days it took more effort to get skint.
Ebay - same. And so many things you know you can't live without from every attic in the known universe.
Instant news that knee jerks and creates a false celebrity every 10 seconds to fill an endlessly increasing demand to fill every waking moment with banality and noise.
And lots of interesting stuff, and info when you want it and and and I'm a grumpy old cow tonight:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0
