  • Thanks everyone. I know I should be brave, and NLID, that saying is great :)

Right now I've got a horrible headache. Have just got the washing out so need to sort it out and make the bed, but really don't feel like it. OH will help but not until the golf is over, realistically...

I'll reply properly when I can read straight!

  • A lot of people have recently asked me where I get my confidence, hard working ethics (its 12am and im still coding an update) and never say die attitude from, and to be honest its from the very few friends I have offline (In reality I have a lot of "mates" but only two friends - my best man at the wedding and my wife)

My Never Say Die attitude comes from my brother, who sadly passed away December 2005, aged only 10. He had severe disabilities which where not what killed him in the end, it was an epileptic seizure. We were told after he had surgery he would most likely not be able to adapt and walk again, yet just 3 days later he was running around on plaster casts when he was meant to be wheelchair bound for his muscles to recover. He simply ignored the pain (I have had the same surgery and was wheelchair bound for 3 weeks due to the pain of trying to even stand).

He could charm anyone, no matter how angry you were with him, he would get his way in the end as he simply didnt care what you thought or did - he just did it his way and ignored the consequences - even when they were upon him.

He had an inner strength I have never witnessed in anyone else, either adult or child and puts every body on this forum to shame when it comes to inner strength - and there are some people on here who have true inner strenth!

I am not a patch on him but I choose to try and be as close as I can be to him

NLID - your brother sounds amazing... very inspirational. And like you I am going to be pulling an all nighter with some design and some coding work. I am going to wack on some tunes : )

Feel pretty motivated just got back from seeing Alice in Wonderland at the IMAX, got my second wind so I reckon I can keep going until about 4am - 5am. Here is to a hardcore night of worky-worky!

Nikki, can you do night-out packages maybe? Or market the packages as a cheer-up treat' 'had a bad week? =etc', maybe mention how friendly and pleasant you are in some way, I'm always put off, well hairdressers really as I've had my legs waxed once and that was enough, thanks lol - but I was a bit put off by the unfriendly beautician? Could you maybe generate some word-of-mouth through friends and clients? Sorry if this is no use, I know nothing at all about beauty treatments lol!
Can someone get me some motivation from the shop when you're there please? Pffft. Doing lots of stuff with kids atm so nothing much else happening but going to try to maybe Ebay the last of the pile later.
Jo and Saucy, big hugs, and to anyone else that need them, hope you're in a better state of mind today :)
Toots, will love seeing the pics when they're done, thank you, sorry am not getting on here much atm except on my phone which is a pain to write anything on.
Em and Mambury and anyone else, thank you for the well-wishes, hope you're all OK and will hopefully be back soon :)
