Even, I was just thinking about that! Yeah I'd still like it, please
Jo, that's a very good point. I'm feeling very anxious about it tonight...I seem to be in a mood when I need constant reassurance. Of everything.
Is it all the talk about me and my op/Spain everyone is upset about? I don't mean to take over, I just find you guys to be like a family to me...I can shut up?Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
Saucy, what is the point of health insurance if you don't use it?
At the moment, health insurance is not compulsory or even (in theory) necessary in this country (not going to get into political argument re NHS at this point!). So you have health insurance and use it, or you don't. (Have it). If you keep paying health insurance but still stump up the costs by yourself then that is a double whammy. If you're not going to use it because you are scared the premiums will go up, then don't pay the premiums.
If you are paying for private health and go private but pay for it (I assume this £2K is private treatment) then would it be worth investigating whether you could get the same treatment on the NHS? Since you talk about getting doctors appointments I assume you are also using the NHS system.
Tell me to get lost if you like, but it seems daft to me not to use the system you have paid into, in the fear of having to pay more for it.0 -

Thanks Jo
I think it's just my mood, looking back I can't see where I have upset anyone...I'd be devastated if I have, I love everyone on this thread. I don't know how I'd get through the day without you sometimes.
2Cats, that's a valid point too. I'll talk to Bupa tomorrow, and my drs on Monday. Now I just have to stop being scared of hospitals again!
Edit - Oh and Jo, I completely agree with everyone who said you make a huge difference to the thread and make everyone happy. You are always full of amazing advice and we miss you when you aren't around.Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
