  • Jo,
I work in IT so slowly is disastrously bad - if im too slow someone else will be out there beating me to it - I had an idea a few years ago and implemented it on my own machine, which a few friends used to store links (like bookmarks) on there own accounts. del.icio.us was a similar idea but on a larger scale, and in december 2005 it was sold for an undisclosed fee to Yahoo! That could have been my project if id had the confidence and the money to push forward with it as my software had rave reviews from all my friends in the Computer Science department at Uni. I failed then because I lacked commercial knowledge and confidence in my products.

I hope this product does not go the same way so I put in the work to get things sorted.

munchki - I am setting monday as the golive for the product in terms of it being:

    A. Stable
    B. Reliable
    C. User Friendly

After this I will switch to building the website - hopefully Dilli will have a design for me to allow me to get the site built - and then on to the hardest thing in the world for me - writing the sales pitch for this product!

  • And now we are upto version 0.4

A Number of minor enhancements and bug fixes have been encorporated into this version, including fixing the main issue with the ebay feedback import of an error being reported, Further to this we now only retrieve the ebay feedback for a the seller transactions where the user was acting as the seller.

We will in future reconsider this decision however I doubt this will be before version 1.0 (AKA The first general release)

  • Morning!

I so need to start going to bed earlier! DD2 decided that 6.10am was a good time to wake up and demand breakfast, anyone would think I don't feed her the amount she is eating atm!

I think today is going to be spent flitting between listing and cleaning, hopefully I will have everything listed that I have photoed (about 60 items) by the end of the day, ready to start on the book lists tonight.

Also need to get photos for DD1&2s passports today as I have an appointment booked to get them on Tues, don't know who I am going to get to sign them between now and then, but will worry about that later, I have worked out, that grabbing a last minute Eurostar I can afford to take OH away for his bday, only problem I am looking for a way around is the fact that the puppy we have a few years ago chewed the corner of his passport so part of the barcode is missing. Think he need a new one, but how do I convince him to go get it done straight away as opposed to sending it off on a normal service??? I can forsee this being posponed due to my lack of organisation here!

Jo - Don't feel uncomfortable, the reason I personally think that you are an inspirational lady, is because of your serene and happy outlook on life, I know that you will not always be that way, but the fact that no matter what is thrown at you, you can always find a way to come out positive amazes me, and I wish I could start thinking like that!

Munchki - you had better not mean me! I was half asleep by the end of last night and I dont remember what I said, sorry if it was me!

maybe just tell OH that you are trying to be organised and are just wanting to get passports in order just in case and on your todo list! I know what you mean that one is going to be hard!

No of course not, I was just feeling a bit insecure. Got a little sleep last night and the morning is bright and sunny and the future begins now!

  • Good morning!

He is a stubborn @rse who never takes time off, I will suss something out!

Forogt, I also have to pack as I have been bribed, no, thats not the right word, that would imply I was getting something in return, I have been emotionally blackmailled into travelling 100 miles and childminding my niece mon-weds, as school is out for Easter and they don't have anyone to look after her! Still DD1 is in love with her cousin so she will be happy and the nearest passport office is not too far from there so can disguise the visit! Ho Hum, 3 kids under 5 a double buggy and 2 buses, now that should be interesting!

Off to get dressed and go into town and hopefully come back with some furniture and a chair!

Edit: ok maybe its a bit early to go out just yet! oops!

    Good morning everyone!

    List for today!

    1. Go to new bank and find out where, why and when my new account is going to be active. Should have been this week and still not got cards etc and my old/current bank account has mostly been limited access and will be frozen on the 15th thanks to the ex and the account has nothing to do with him!!

    2. Have a trawl through some charity shops and some discount shops and see if I can find a few things for the new flat.

    3. Go out and have a proper walk to relax chill out and just start living again!

    4. Work on my lovely crocheted blankie for the new flat!

I am so excited and have woke up in the most amazing mood, full of hopes and dreams again which is really nice. heheeheh MaP hope that chair is still there lol and it gives me an excuse to visit again lol.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day today!! xxx
