Morning all! Jo- lovely post thankyou hun, I know exactly what you mean when you say about meeting people, I'm sure they'd think the same about me! I can never think what to say face to face with people but can blether on here no prob!

Lilac- had to laugh at the thought of your OH- he's either after something or just too warm- and as he got up and the towel didn't hang on anything I'm guessing it was the second ;-)

Saucy/Munchki- anyone else paranoid- it wasn't you it was me and the merkin talk ( bovvered tho?!)

    Hales/Evenstar- love you too :-)

NLID- you're doing brilliantly! I'll have a look at the new version later on :-)

Paula- come back to us we miss you hun, I know you won't believe it but honestly your sulkies are amazing, you should gather up all your courage and approach a local shop about selling some for you, could do tourist ones complaining about the weather and local ones complaining about the tourists!!

Blimey- sorry if I've missed anyone you were busy last night!

they are fine but.... my supposed asthma... the doc thinks I'm allergic to the rats! I come up in welts when I hold them.... a months supply of antihistamines and if that works then I might have to get rid of them... the kids will be guted

    Skint - take it easy.....

Em - sorry if it was me.... I hope it wasn;t!

Paula - I have an idea for you ... pm you later!!

Off to do housework and boring stuff today. I am just going to have to accept that I can't get any work done with the kids running around. I spend most of my time stopping them from killing each other....

Morning all. Lovely bright sunny day today and DH has a loaf of bread on so the house smells yummy.

Today's jobs are [STRIKE]sort out memberships and remaining photo orders for work, plant some seeds in trays for the veggie patch, try to persuade DH to go out and buy some big bags of compost for topping up the raised beds and filling one new one, get 100 more direct mail flyers ready to go[/STRIKE] and spend some time tidying the tip of a spare room/craft room/office. [STRIKE]Have also to remember to drop DD off at the birthday party/sleepover she is at tonight. [/STRIKE] If I get all that done I'll tackle turning the compost heaps and maybe weeding the two raised beds at the front of the house (fruit beds). Hmmm need to remember one bed takes ericaceous compost, not the regular sort.

Morning, Morning everyone! Oh what a dribbly night – I feel disappointed I was out and missed it all to be honest.

Munchki – Your news put a big smile on my face there is nothing better than seeing after all the heartache, stress, and everything else that you are coming out on top; and you have made great new friends to boot. I feel so happy knowing that it is all coming together for you; your happiness is richly deserved and long may it continue.

Saucy – fingers crossed about your surgery, and just really glad that it is all being taken seriously. Also it is a scary process in many senses so I am glad that you have this thread as an outlet. And well done you for sorting your health insurance, you are right it does make you feel safer. And you are such a sweetheart, it is really lovely of you to pay for that lady’s holiday xxx

Amber – well done on your earnings... I am glad you total is starting to move! Good on you and good on Saucy too!

Evenstar – sounds like great news about the art group! You have nothing to lose by contacting them. Go for it!!!

Jo – that is so great about the cafe I am so glad that it is going well. And I am glad that I am not the only one with a gratitude list/ or nice things that happened list. One of my friends who is Buddhist writes done all the nice things that have been done for her and she encouraged me to do the same thing. I also have a luck diary, I write down one lucky thing that has happened to me each day and it keeps my life in perspective. It made me realise that I have more happiness and blessings than I ever realised. I think you underestimate yourself Joprah, your words of calm and inspiration always make me feel happy. You always know the right thing to say! So, don’t downplay your gifts x

PaulaB – massive hugs to you. I am PMing you something that helped me boost my confidence! Hope it helps you too x

Mummy&P – wow, you have a busy day!!!! That sounds like a crazy time for you – I do hope you get a little bit of chill out time to yourself! Don’t over do it (pot calling kettle – I know lol )

Seems to be a lovely sunshining (sp) day this morning. Just hope that everyone is getting sunshine and their corner of the world this morning. I am doing the best that I can but I am feeling so short on time at the moment for everything. But, I have a killer to list to work through. I wouldn’t say that I feel stressed, it is more a feeling of wishing that I could have a week to myself to sort stuff out. I have three days off coming up which is getting me more and more excited. But, I am going to have to seriously review how I spend my time. I want to do a TV diet, I am sick of the thing being on and I would really love to not have the bloody thing on in the corner anymore grrrrrr. Right, I am going to turn 24 hours into 48 hours – wish me luck!!!

    xxx

    Thanks Dilli.
Its nice to hear about your lucky list. I have read a lot of buddhist stuff over the last couple of years and its really helpful stuff. I'm not buddhist but really take on board a lot of the ways of looking at/ thinking about things.
If its not too personal and you don't mind sharing would you PM me the confidence stuff too as I like adding to my resources and thinking about new ideas.
We did without telly for nearly a year when DS was tiny. it was great.

    Jo, PM sent!
Same with me I wouldn't label myself anything but anything I find useful or helpful I hang onto! I would love it, I could quite happily listen to the radio and live without TV.

I find myself reading more and more along the buddhist line, there is something so peaceful and regenerating about the principles of it all. Simplicity....what I crave, what I will now have...

I would also be interested in the confindece info, as mine has taken a bit of a beating over the past couple of years and so odd, something I never really suffered from before.. Life eh? x
