 I have heard those neighbors and it is going to take more than a mallet unless of course you use it on thier heads!!! I could not believe it when I was there!I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -
Nixi, thanks it is going well. learning lots.
Jo x
ps mabel I obviously missed it all. hope you are ok.
Em are you feeling any better. sounds like a tough week.
PaulaB big hugs. you are really missed and I hope that tells you something about how highly we think of you. some of the books I mentioned in a different context in my PM might help with the confidence stuff and I might have some other ones to suggest too once my brain switches off from coffee machines!! also I can lend you just about any of the books I mentioned if you want to borrow them. xx“Don’t ask what the world needs. At least the neighbours have only had ABBA on full volume for the last week, it could be a lot worse, and if it weren't for the fact that they are all gob, piercings tattoos and drugs, I would lump them with the mallet! But they scare me! I am not a wuss, but this lot are like something out of shameless they really are, still exhaustion does wonders and makes you sleep through even the loudest of music........eventually!
Jo - glad you are enjoying work, at the moment, I would be inclinded to see it as a bit of freedom, although you are working, it must be nice, to just concerntrate on that as opposed to always being in Mum mode! I bet it is nice for the kids too, to spend some quality time with their Dad. Also has the added advantage of making the OH realise that there is a lot more to being a stay at home Mum than most men realise!

Just wanted to say, the dribble is keeping me goiong, it's like normal conversation where you find out a little at a time about people and it's cheering me up right now. I'm beyond unmotivated but hope to fix this, and if anyone knows anything about fixing confidence, the deep-down kind, I could use it. I'm very up-and-down and can't get rid of that voice in my head that keeps telling me every single little thing I do or say is !!!!!!. Love you lot for being so funny and entertaining. Well done Nixi by the way, and MummyP, you are so determined and positive, ace
will PM you later maybe or when I get proper chance, have a great day everyone
xx
Paulabear, I've not caught up yet, but just saw this post and HAD to reply. I don't think you know just how much you and everyone on here cheer me up. Even walking into the office on a Monday morning is cheered up by seeing your sulkie - not just that I like it for what it is, but it gives me a buzz that everything that is said and done on this forum can be summed up in that piece of modelling clay. You have done what I am trying to do but while looking after a house and children as well. Please don't feel that what you do and say isn't worth anything - you are an inspiration and it's people like you that push people like me to keep trying.

Lucky for me MandP he's more domesticated than I am!! So its been like a chinese laundry here while I've been out and he's made my lunch to take with me every day as well as done fun things with the kids. I think he knows that its a bit different doing it week in week out though otherwise I might not be able to live up to what he achieving while I'm at work.
Strangely my shoulder and neck pain which has been really bad lately has been eased a lot. must be using different muscles and also just concentrating on the job in hand is quite therapeutic. x“Don’t ask what the world needs. Wow Jo, where di you find him? I need to get me one of those and trade in the useless lump I have now!
Glad the pain in the neck (literally in this case!) is better, traansfered the ache into the feet though! A long hot bath and putting your feet up is the only cure for a long days work!turn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0
