I've completed my mini-move now - thanks Jo - it's good to be achieving some tasks that are relevant to the challenge. Even though they are very mini, they're helping me to re-focus. Great idea :T

paulabear, don't do it! Your body needs sleep for the brain to sort its wiring out and for your body to repair and renew itself. Reduced/no sleep = reduced/no repair/renew, which over time = major scr3w up. Sleep deprivation causes psychosis and paranoia and who knows what else. Just don't go there.

ok wednesdays mini move for may. this is probably a bit less tangible than the others but hopefully still useful.
cultivating a "me moment". for many of us this challenge has been great but also added to our workload or already busy lives. Today search your mind for a content peaceful happy relaxed memory or even an image of something that has never happened but evokes those feelings.
concentrate on it for a few minutes kind of re-imprinting it on your brain. I have a few that come to mind. one is a single fresh flower in a clear vase of water. the other is lying on a greek beach in the evening when it was no longer hot and enjoying the sound of the sea and the feel of the breeze. the other is the utter relaxation I used to get when visitng a friend who lived in a tiny cottage in the middle of nowhere and the feeling of waking in that spare bedroom the sounds of the countryside and the freshness of the air through the open window.
Now set an alarm on your mobile or computer or otherwise for at least twice during the day and stop for about 30 seconds find that image and those feelings and just breathe them in.
If you are really busy and stressed at other times try to take a 30second me moment just to take care of yourself.

    Hello,
Just checking in. I'm still feeling rough. Having serious problems with sleep, so had a sleep assessment. I don't enter REM, so any sleep is very shallow. I've got pains everywhere, and shooting pains in my face.

I'm also in the process of moving, which has happened quite fast. Need to rent a van from somewhere tomorrow, pack everything up and go. Living here isn't possible anymore.

I'm alive, though. Not managing to make any money and worrying about how it will affect Spain...anyway, will stop burdening you all. Have been writing this update for 2 days!!

well I forgot to update everyone on the cost of the repairs to the car......

On Saturday morning I got underneath the car, dropped the fuel tank and provided power to the tank without a fuel line attached (well one into a jerry can - didnt want to waste any motion lotion) and got precisely nothing out of it.

So I hit it hard with a hammer --- Still nothing

So I replaced it with a spare I had - pumped the fuel out of the tank and refitted. poured the fuel back into the tank and the car started.... then i realised I have no petrol guage!

Total cost of repairs - £5 for a replacement piece of fuel line which is known to split upon removal.... but now I have no fuel guage and dont have a clue what is in the tank!

HOwever I have found a free replacement from a friend - but its a 30 mile drive each way!
    £4142.49/ £131,795.91 - 3.14% paid off or only £129,608.80 to go!
    Debt free by Xmas 2015: #182 £1955.38/£4435.51 (44.08%)

NLID - that could be fun 30 miles each way but i supposed the cost of fuel still is cheaper than buying one yourself. Glad you found the issues with your car. Hope your OH and DS are ok as well?
