hhhonly - thank you so much first ones wil do nicely!! :d

Saucy it is so nice to hear from you, I have been worried. I got told the same thing about my sleep, I dont enter REM which is why my fibro was so bad, mu GP put me on amitriptyline (spelling?) which have been absolutely fantastic and since taking them I have slept better and been in a lot less pain although not pain free but a damn site better than before. Huge hugs sweetie, take it easy xxx

Hi all, haven't been on this thread properly for a while, missed all the excitement/chaos/sadness - congrats to everyone who's done well, brackets (hugs) to everyone who needs them.

Not getting anywhere with blogging / getting the blogging sites to do what I want, finally got access to my webspace (first the server and then the database was moved/down) but I've found out I can't use the cms I want, as there's a upload size limit unless I pay more

Found out I've still got free space from my isp (despite the company they use for the actual internet connection changing) but don't know whether to use that or not as I don't know how long I'm going to stay with them.

How hard is is to move a selfhosted wordpress blog from one site to another?

I've fallen off the money making wagon recently but back on it now, listed more cds on amazon & revised my prices for the new postage costs & just sold a rubbishy obscure charity shop book for £9+ :j

Discovered one of the market stalls buys cds & dvds too (for naff all but it's good for the ones I can't shift on amazon and aren't in good enough quality for musicmagpie)

Thanks for the links Hhhhonlyfan - I need accurate postal scales.

Paula - I would'nt mess with that tbh, thought about trying it myself ages ago but decide the risks weren't worth it. I know this sounds like anti-drug scaremongering (or David Cameron style 'I once meant a black man...') but... knew somebody (on another forum) who was heavily using this - ended up taking their life. (could be completely unrelated but...)

Oh yeah - on a more cheery note, I was on myspace the other day looking at bands and found one called (rhymes with huff) wigs! Maybe they could do a promotional tie-in with the merkins? :rotfl:

PaulaB - I read that article and the thought of you taking it would scare the c*** out of me hun. did you read the end of it? did you also read the bit that while the brain doesn't seem to show sleep deprivation the body does show signs of it if used for anything more than a short period of time. fair enough but it then goes on to say it is a habit forming medication too. sleep deprivation can do a lot of damage to your body.
after they had taken it for a few days they seemed to get the opposite effect of the benefits they initially felt. feeling drunk and disorientated and unsure how they had spent there time. one girl fainting and losing her sight all be it only for a couple of minutes.
I can see it for exam cramming but would worry about using on a regular basis as you might just have more extremes eg taking it and feeling really with it and then feeling really crap afterwards and even less able to concentrate.
not sure why I'm posting cos it really is your own choice but it did worry me so I am posting my thoughts. hope I don't offend

I did, thank you - I'd only just found that one and had only previously read articles where they praised it and said about them giving soldiers it, etc - as I read through that one it seemed a lot more realistic in that it wasn't just some magical thing where it made your life better - it actually showed you the bad effects which to be honest are to be expected, any extremes you push your body to will result in the opposite occurring after some time, I've found. Thanks everyone. Was kind of joking but I get frustrated with myself, I have too many ideas and too little concentration and I leave half-finished projects in my chaotic wake that make me feel guilty when I come across them again! think what I actually need is to go easy on myself but my mind says different. Anyway will see about these different antidepressants :) you lot are lovely, did you know?
Saucy so good to see you back, sorry you're feeling so poorly, big massive hugs xx xx xx
Jenna, hi! Well done on the charity shop find :) scary about the person on the forum, thanks :o
Good news about my grandma - her breathing etc is getting good enough for her to be allowed home with a care package in place :) we are still going to lose her but she'll be in her own home with as many people as want to see her around so she'll be happier and more in control.
Sorry none of this is money-making, I need to get back on track I think! Will attempt the mini-move, thank you jo xx

Okay...life jobs done...took way longer than I wanted but heyho...

I have decided on my mini movr for today. I am going to try to plan a strategy for ebay rather than just listing everything at once.

I will pop back later once I have written it!!

    Hi Mambury,

Not sure if this helps or not but I tend to list whenever I get the time but then on a Thursday night between 8 and 9 I check to see if any unsold listings are eligible for relist credit. If they are I relist them for 10 days so they finish on a Sunday night.

Worked a treat this weekend. Sold lots of previously unsold stuff.

P.s. hello all, sorry I don't get on much. My excuse is a puppy and depression. I don't read back as much as I would like either so I know I miss a lot. Think it would take me weeks to catch up now :-)

Good to hear from you SAucy!! Virtual hugs on their way...

    Hey Jenna....

Hey JM.... I do usually finish on a Thursday or Sunday for auctions. I was planning a strategy for my shop (well one of them!!) . Try and get my had around Best Match and all that rubbish!

Rubbish week so far.... period, washing machine broken, DD wetting her knickers 6/7 times a day (usually means a bug is on its way) and my sister has gone missing in London and has started taking drugs again. She just got wasted and got on a train to London and isn't answering her phone. I think she is with her birth mother (adopted by my parents when she was a baby) but as I can;t get hold of either of them I;m not totally sure... Why does my family have to be so bloody complicated?

Right, rant over.....lots of work to do.... pop back later!

    morning everyone.
Saucy was so good to hear from you last night. you don't burden us hun.
Jenna hello thanks for posting. not sure what to suggest about the hosting but maybe simeone a bit more knowledgeable wiill be on soon.
Paula I really understand your frustration. I agree about taking it easy on yourself but also that its not easy to do. may be worth looking at some self help tools for adult ADD. not saying that that is the problem but that the same tools may be useful to you. Its not a condition that is widely diagnosed here but is widely recognised in the states.
not sure whether thats a good or a bad thing but a side effect of it being a common diagnosis is that there are lots of people trying to manage it "drug free" and so a lot of ideas on how to handle day to day living. which in themselves can be useful for lots of people without the condition or who think they may have it but don't want to go down a medical diagnosis route.
Good news as well about your gran. That is much nicer than being in hospital. my friends mum (also like a second mum to me for many years) died from cancer just before christmas and had a care package at home. it was fantastic and when she died it was in her own bedroom with all her children, her brothers and 2 of her grown up grandchildren. it could not have been better even though it was very sad.
Hi jm rance its nice to hear from you and I would guess it would be impossible to catch up on so much dribble but you know we don't mind and are just glad to hear from you.
Thanks for the heads up on ebay Nikki hope you manage to get a fair bit listed.
