I've just ordered some of that copper adhesive tape off ebay for the pesky slugs...grrrrr0 -
what i always used as slug repellant was a thin layer of salt around my pots on the floor. I found as my animals dont like the taste of salt and kid friendly incase they touch it as well.:j:jDribbling my way to financial success:j:j

Thanks HH-I'll try that round my veg patch-its only about 4 foot square so not too much salt! Its fenced so the dogs wont be able to get at it...off out to sprinkle some salt :-)0

Mabel, have you tried the thing where you put some beer in a bowl and the slugs all go in for a drink and drown? Apparently anyway
I'm back from an expensive trip through to Hull with all three kids, nightmare train journey etc then meal and drinks out for my friend's 30th, kids woke me at 5.3oam!!! -then have come back today on train with grumpy tired children who'd spent an hour chasing each other around the seat I was on in the waiting room after we missed the first train, then wailed all the way home from the station because they'd nodded off and were tired and cold! *deep breath* aaaand relax....
phone's at £280 and has got 4 hrs something, exciting is everybody well, have I missed anything important or hilarious? xx I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0
