    Thanks for your sympathy guys - OH is still a lil down but I think he's coming to terms with it now. We were expecting it but it was still a shock.

    Paula - if he has paid by paypal please send it SIGNED for delivery. This is the biggest paypal scam going, pay by paypal, collect in person then file an 'item not received' dispute. You have no proof of postage so eBay side with the buyer. They wont accept a signature when they pick it up either.

    ETA: I may just be cynical but there are far too many scam artists out there and £300 is a lot of money to lose!

    Awwww I just went to check on the baby (he;s in bed) Found him asleep at the top of the cot completely cuddled into the cat. Unlike the cat to like being cuddled but the baby cried when I moved him (heard too many stories about animals smothering babies by accident) So cute tho!

    Argh!! Never thought of that! Would Ebay not accept the messages sent between myself and the buyer as proof? ...guess not as it's not physical evidence...? - anyway am messaging him now to say I'd rather send it next-day delivery as there have been scams, thanks hon, really glad I had my little rant on here now! Thank you! xx

    -I sent this;
    Hi;
    sorry to change my mind on this but I have just spoken with my husband who says there have been scams recently where buyers have picked up items in person and then filed a dispute to get their money back by claiming that the item has not arrived; he says I need to send it recorded delivery as stated in the auction so that I have proof of postage. I do apologise for telling you this would be OK but I'm sure you understand this is a concern and I have to do whatever is most secure for myself and buyers. I will send the phone by recorded next-day delivery and insure it to cover loss. Thank you for prompt payment - I have left feedback : ) apologies,

    -don't think it could cause offence? (claimed it was OH as he could have been in the room and discussing it with me). Unless it was a scammer and then they've had it anyway cos I already got the money so ner. Talking like a small child as I'm very tired. That's so cute about the cat! :) xx

    Hi paula, I always heard that if its collect in person then only accept cash too.
    sorry to hear about your OHs gran Nikki.
    well done on all the ebay sales everyone sounds like they are going well today.
    I have had an idea for May that I'd like to do on here and if others want to join me that would be great.
    I'm calling it the dribblers Mini Moves for May.
    each day I'll post a little question for the day about a mini action you will do that day. you can answer on here for a feeling of being held to account and solidarity or just to yourself if its too personal. they will often be obviously related to the challenge and other times more lifestyle related but all designed to help us feel that we are moving forward in some way. I don't think I will come up with a different one every
    single day so some will repeat during the month.
    I will post them the night before so that both late night chatters and early morning dribblers will get them in time.
    So mondays question is - what can you do today to save at least £1 and add it to your 10k total?
