If either MRS Money or evenstar have stuff they need to get rid of (and can't face ebaying/carbooting) that might be useful for Babymoos neighbours who survived the fire. she is only a PM away. any stuff that they can't practically used will be sold to raise funds both for the family and for the memorial for the 2 children.
just a little reminder.

Hi everyone,
Jsut a quick one as I'm busy busy at work.
Yesterday's cross channel meetings went really well. No need to be nervous. I took my place at the front table and was quicky joined by strangers and my boss. Listened to all the pesentations about what people were doing etc and although it focused more on events planned for the forthcoming quarter it was interesting. We then had lunch, tuna salad for me, and pineapple and strawberries for dessert. We then did the speed networking, we were all numbered 1 and 2 and the 2's had to make their way round the room. I was number 1 so I was lucky. Basically we had prompt cards of a couple of questions to ask but I quickly relaxed and got down to asking better questions.
What I got out of it was some great contacts about websites, seo,ppc and algorithms ? - work related of course ;-) a few meetings arranged to discuss marketing ideas and a whole list of small business events and seminars taking place which I may be forced to attend (paid for of course by work) :-)
We then were expecting customers to arrive to tell us their experiences with us but there was a delay so they opened a free bar for a while. Only one turned up eventually but it was good because we got to ask a lot of relevant questions.
So all in all a good day.
I could have stayed for more free drinks and dinner but I left to go home to see kids. we had a roast chicken dinner.
Oh and I also weighed myself yesterday morning and I was 17st 8lb so either the original weight was wrong or I've manamged to shift 4lb since Sunday.
To be fair I did as NLID suggested and weighed myself empty, but hey I'm happy with that.

Well I've done my main shop for £50
. Saved about £20, just need to get some other stuff like rice, etc but still gonna come in cheaper than usual.
I got 2.5kilo of steak mince, 2kilo of chicken breasts and 1kilo of stewing steak for £25. Is that good?0 -
4lb?! That's great- however you did it lol. Glad the meeting went well after all your worrying :-)
Hi NLID, you have done your utmost to pay what you owe, and are getting stressed about it- you don't want to make yourself ill with stress because then you will be in trouble. If I were you I would definately look into bankruptcy, it's not like you haven't tried to get through it by yourself. It's a short life hun, don't give a flying rats bum what anyone might say about you going bankrupt.
Anyhooo just my two pennorth!0 -
No idea Nikki- I'm a veggie! But well done on your budget shopping :-)0

Afternoon All,
Babymoo – I am too far away to come but I would love to make a donation.
Paulab – Happy gardening, glad that you are pushing through hon x
Toots – good to hear from you time out is always good for the soul.
MoneyM – similar thought to you, I love my Wii but I need to think about selling it. I haven’t used mine in weeks TBH. And now that there is a similar thing coming out on PS3 (OH has one) it seems wasteful and self indulgent to keep it. But, I do love it!
And love the new black rose – well done Nix!
Even – great news about the new place. Exciting stuff here’s to new starts and new beginnings. Where are you moving to?
Nikki – Glad that you had good feedback hopefully that good word of mouth will get you some more clients.
NLID – I know the feeling with the debt mate, my account has been battered. It is getting better very slowly though. But, every time I pay something I get annoyed, mainly because I hate my finances being in such a state. Gah! Onwards and upwards and I aim to put a massive dent in my figure before the year is done. Be proud of yourself you are working hard to pay if off 8.85% down. You can do it, I can do it, we have to do it!
As for me, I can happily add another 89.80 for a small client project that I did. Very happy to make my figure move a little bit more. I just hope that I can push my productivity up a bit. I have had a semi lazy week, but then I was ill so I should stop overdoing it. Thanks so much for the blog comments too my eyes almost started leaking. Just glad my online family is proud of me, it really means so much more than you could imagine.

Just saw your other post NLID - big hugs. How about IVA agreements is there anyway of being able to restructure the debt at all, as I know that you are the sole breadwinner and that is a lot of additonal pressure. Is there any wriggle room for you at all? Also, is it worth you going to the CAB for some general help with regards to the debt?10K 2010 challenge £3202.59/£10000
